“I was first introduced to Layman Brewing on a quiet Sunday afternoon and have since made it my go to spot. If we are going to meet for dinner or brunch, chances are good I’m dragging you to Layman’s. I appreciate the skill and work these two put into brewing great beer and making yummy food. The fishfry with that tartar sauce is the best. Smash burgers for breakfast yes please! The bartenders are always crafting some delicious cocktails, and I mean crafting. If you’re still on the fence once Sarah comes around and entices you with her apple pie, you’ll be hooked! Go enjoy something delicious and soak up the friendly vibe for this little homegrown establishment.“

The room comfortably accommodated our group of 40-65 guests, and we truly appreciated the flexibility to bring our own snacks. Having access to the microphone and sound system was a great bonus. “We had our welcome party here the night before our wedding, and the full tunnel area was the perfect spot to welcome our guests to Milwaukee! The food and drinks were great, our guests especially liked the steak flatbread. Bella and Joan were really helpful with all the planning beforehand, answered any questions we had quickly, and made sure everything went smoothly. Would recommend for a hosting a fun event!“

“The blue cheese coleslaw was amazing! I got a side of mac n cheese because it sounded so good on the menu. Sadly, it was just a bowl of dry, tasteless pasta with raw bell pepper chunks sprinkled on top. So disappointing. Everything else was good. The service was great. Def check it out but Id avoid the mac n cheese unless you like plain cooked noodles.“

“We went with our Pub Pass! It took 1 and a half inning to get service at the bar during an away Brewers game on Saturday! The piller between bars obstructed the view of the bartender to see other sitting customers! But the staff should of advised the bartender.“

Wish we could have stayed longer, or been there to see some live magic! Had several of the beers(Tell the Bees, Secret Handshake, & First Rabbit) and was extremely satisfied with all of them.“

“Nice spot for a drink or meal, either indoors or outdoors. Service is great, and they have one of the best beer selections in the area. Flights are 3 so choose wisely...or have two! 🍻 food portions were huge, we ordered two apps (pictured) and I ended up boxing my whole sandwich bc I was too full. Paid for a side salad upgrade and wish I hadn't. It was a bunch of huge leaves, which were not very crunchy and awkaward to put in my mouth. The balsamic dressing was meh. Otherwise the food was really good; appetizing and it paired well with the beers, but not spectacular/top tier. You could do way worse for pub food. But also....isn't 90% of dining in the southern mke suburbs just dofferent versions of pub food?!?!?! That being said, I give Explorium a solid 4.6/5. We are repeat customers.“

“We held our Wedding Welcome Party at MobCraft Beer the night before our big day. Elise was so fun, professional, and organized throughout the entire process. Elise was helpful in providing her recommendations for serving sizes based on our guest count and provided us with plenty of options based on her experiences! I would recommend MobCraft to anyone for their event because there are many options for where your event can be all within the brewery, plus overall its an amazing environment. We chose the Game Room, because we wanted our group to have its own space but we still wanted to be apart of the breweries atmosphere with the other customers. We also used the in-house catering MobCraft provided and it was delicious! Again, Elise was great to work with and it turned into such a fun night! Highly Recommend!!“

The service was tight yet not overwhelming. The jumbalaya was great. My wife loved her red cabbage, potatoes and schnitzel!“

“We came in at 6:00pm and were told there would be a wait. Miquel, our waiter, quickly got us seated. He had a great sense of humor. Kept our drinks full and was an overall great waiter. I definitely recommend asking for his section! Food was delicious and Pizookies were amazing.“
