I've had three fish fries there (Perch twice and Walleye once) and all three times it was amazing. And as great as the fish is, the potatoes are also excellent. Had fries the first two times and tater tots the third time. Always light and crispy. Even the cole slaw is great.

we've been coming here for a long time from Chicago, once a month at least. The previous owner (friend) let us have our club meetings every month here and the new owner has graciously continued that practice. Burnsie is a really nice guy, investing a LOT into this place with remodeling. I bring my fiancee and kid here also and we always eat. usually get the fish fry but I think the burgers are way better than they've ever been. will likely get burgers from now on. They're huge! The appetizers are fantastic but we didn't go for those last night. was really blown away by them last time. We always tip 25%+ as they make is feel at home here. I dont like to drink any more, and discovered their Non Alcoholic beer is fresh, unlike most West Allis bars (They have at least three varieties including ODoules and Heineken 0, would love to see Athletic brewing sold here but it would likely be too expensive in a bar, it's $10 in Chicago)
Doesn't smell like smoke any more and theres new and more TVs around. I guess the Bloody Marys are a big deal and they have dry erase cards to order from, simple and convenient. I might have a drink just to try one. our club guys were doing shots of pickle vodka here recently. wow. sorry I missed that.

Don't go here unless you're friends with the owner. Literally advertising 4 Wings for $3 and charged $4. Charged $1 for to go meal. The atmosphere is very off. And when a friend of the owner asked about the wing special. They were told it's 4 Wings for $4? And replied "oh so it's not 4 Wings for $3 like advertised?" To which the bartender shook her head at him to be quiet.... used to like when it was Dickens.. the new vibe is not it....
