Food and drinks were spot on. Service was friendly and attentive. A tad on the pricey side but worth it

When I say if you want to taste a piece of New Orleans.. I’m saying stop at CrawDaddy’s!!! I’ve been so homesick but walking in and seeing how perfectly decorated this restaurant is brought me home, and the the food…. Oh my god. I had to shake the chefs hand, I had to shake the owners hand, then I had to call my family and tell them I found a piece of home all the way up here in Wisconsin! Thank yall so absolutely much and I will 10000000% be back soon! 🖤

Stopped in on a Monday. This was my first ever visit and the menu made me immediately salivate over their offerings. I came for the all you can eat fried chicken though. The fried chicken comes out heat hot, but well cooked and seasoned. It comes with choice of two sides that are also all you can eat. I went with the red beans and rice for one side and the maple collard greens for the other. Both were excellent choices and pair well with fried chicken. I would definitely come back for the fried chicken and the sides had me wondering how great the other offerings on the menu are because they were flavorful and scrumptious! I would recommend, I will be back, and if you are in the area - go enjoy a meal!

Food was not hot enough. Meats were dry like they were kept out. Soda was flat. Server was very slow. Didn't check on us very often. Sat for some time without getting refills. Never checked on us while eating our food.

Never ever again! Over priced and very overrated, our bill was almost $300 for four people that barely got anything! Myself ordered all you can eat crab legs, they brought me out 5 freakin crab legs at a time , I was so disappointed I only had two servings after that,I was ready to go, my stomach was growling when we left, I got home and cooked a meal…Ridiculous! Never ever going back! I hate I have to give any stars..😡

Been wanting to come here for a long time. I’ve driven by it hundreds of times and it was just never the right timing. Glad we were finally able to stop in. Came on a Monday night with a friend.

Food:
Really like the menu. Lots of diversity to choose from, and the prices are reasonable. We started with a couple of specialty cocktails. I had the Sazerac, and my friend had the OG Old Fashioned. Both were well made, and there was plenty of alcohol in each.

For an appetizer, we got the Frogs on the Mound, which, as you can imagine, is 1/2 lb of frog legs on haystack onion rings. I haven’t had frog legs in a while, and I thought these were very good. The breading was light, well seasoned, and not overcooked. The haystack onion rings were just okay. They could have been hotter and maybe seasoned (or just salted) a bit more.

For our entrees, I got the Blackened Catfish, and he got the Grouper Tacos. Both of these meals were also very good. The blackened fish was the best part of my meal. It was excellently seasoned, cooked to the right temperature, and moist and flaky. Delicious! The collard greens were good, but would have been better with just a bit more pork. More pork is always better. The rice and beans were good too, but the temperature was less than hot.

My friend enjoyed his Grouper Tacos, and the bite he shared with me was very good, except for the green peppers. I much prefer orange or yellow peppers, but I realize that’s a personal taste issue. The tacos tasted fresh, the fish was tender, and the portions were good.

Service:
The place was about a quarter full. Even though we weren’t in a hurry, the service got off to a bit of a slow start. After getting waters and menus, it took a while for our server to get back to us. I started to worry that this might be an issue for the rest of the evening, so I made a point of getting their attention. After that, things went smoothly. After ordering appetizers and entrees, the food came out in a timely fashion. All the staff we interacted with were helpful and friendly. Thanks, Sarah 1 and Sarah 2 :)

Atmosphere:
Besides the separate bar area, the dining room is a big open space with lots of four-top tables spread around. Around the walls there are posters, art pieces, and plenty of Mardi Gras beads. I wasn’t sure at the time, but there was something a bit cramped about the interior. After looking at the pictures, I think it might have to do with the low, tiled ceiling. (I think this is the first time I have ever mentioned something about a tiled ceiling.) On this night, it was quiet and easy to have a comfortable conversation.

Glad that we finally stopped in for a meal. With the exception of the initial service delay and some small issues with a couple of food items, it was a very good meal. Would definitely want to stop back again to try other parts of the menu.

I went there for a Mardi Gras show. The stage area on the bar side is where I was. I ate at the bar and ordered drinks from the bar. The service was pretty solid. The atmosphere was really nice, but the food is okay at best. I had the gumbo, the alligator bites, and mac and cheese. They were all decent. Not bad, but not great either. It was all hot and fresh though and they were fairly busy at the time.

I tried the all you can eat crab legs. My first batch was great. After I asked for more, id get 1 cluster at a time. The clusters got darker, not as tasty and more salty as they came out. I do have to say the corn on the cob was very sweet and delicious. The piano music was very nice. They did charge an automatic 18% tip on our bill when it was only my husband and i but im assuming all you can eat crablegs is considered one of their special days. Check their website. I do understand to a degree the auto tip because our bill was over $150 because so many people do not tip properly. I usually give 20%. We were impressed that they had blue point oysters for only $1 each. Im considering going back to try something different.

Do not try if you are an InKind app user.
They advertise through InKind but don't honor the company's policies.

I decided to try them due to ratings on the InKond app that they participate in. I called in an order and told the employee I'd be paying with InKind. He said I could pay when I came in.

I came across town to get my food, the manager came and told me that they don't accept InKind on weekends (not something InKind will allow them to regulate with their current policies so they just choose to make rules no one knows about on their own).

I told her that I indicated I'd be using InKimd when I ordered and I could use my earned credits or she could throw the food away.
She chose to throw the food away.

No clue how the food is. But there's plenty of good Cajun food in Milwaukee, I wouldn't support the shady practices or willful waste of resources.

A little noisy. Food was great. Prices too high to get main dish, so went ala-cart.

1st time there. Went for birthday celebration. Very nice staff. However, all food left something to be desired. Took gome 90% of meal.then ended up trashing it as NO ONE want it. Menu needs a revamp or maybe it was an off night for cooking staff l. Regardless I will not be back.
