It was our first time here and were greeted OUTSIDE by the one and only Gus! He held the door open for us and kindly showed us the food menu. I haven't had many gyros in my life but this was hands down THE BEST GYRO I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Gus let us know that literally EVERYTHING was homemade, and boy, you could definitely tell it was! My husband got the club and he was definitely happy with his choice as well! Can't wait to come back!!!!!!! 🏆🏆🏆

Hidden in the CBS 58 building (the OG Sam's Club) in Stallis just south of the Milwaukee border is Gus's Deli. Biggest club sandwich in Milwaukee. I had to eat it in 4ths. Great sandwich, friendly staff.
Gus was a Milwaukee staple in the past with Gus's Cantina downtown.

It was really awkward going in there. When we arrived the owner (which I thought was a customer) was sitting at the table eating. We stood there waiting for someone to greet us and she pointed us towards the menu on the wall. We decided what to order for a few minutes and finally she got up to take our order. It seemed like she would rather sit and eat than help the customers that came in. She was very blunt and not friendly what so ever. Very unprofessional and unwelcoming.
This is one of the best lunch restaurants I've been to in AWHILE! The food was hot and fresh! Huge portions! Delicious bloody mary! They make their own mix and it's fabulous! Most pleasant, appreciative, personable owners of a restaurant who take pride in their business and make you feel like you're not just another customer!!! Highly recommend!

Every item I've tried off Gus' menu has been the best version of that meal I've ever had. World class salsa, portions are huge. I usually buy multiple entrees just for me. Gus is probably the nicest guy in Milwaukee County. This is the hidden gem of West Allis and my go to rec for visitors.

We attended a baby shower here and the buffet included chicken enchiladas and nachos Supreme. I loved the way their hamburger meat was seasoned. My husband said the alcoholic drinks were very strong and he enjoyed that. Gus was the perfect host too.
