I was just there this afternoon and it was the best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. From the moment we walked in the door until the moment we left, everyone that was working today was absolutely amazing. The entire staff kept everything flowing and Troy, hands down, was the best server I’ve personally ever had anywhere. He hustled and made our experience seamless. I was able to speak with Beth and Tyler about how great our experience was and they took the time to listen and were so appreciative of the feedback. I made sure I got everyone’s names so I could shout out each and every one of them personally as they all absolutely deserve it, so thank you Julian, Chris, Daniel, John, Troy, Beth and Tyler for a great experience! 😊 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It's not a good look, public-relations wise, for your GM to be a massive troll on social media who thinks all of Milwaukee is "Ghetto" according to her. This is your customer base that she treats like garbage on social media and tries to antagonize. She should have much more productive things to do with her time. I will make sure no one I know spends money at your business. Have a fantastic day.
Enjoy the food, just wish the one in Milwaukee would stock their food bar. Too often are the noodles I like not stocked, same with some of the veggies, and we generally go when it's not a dinner or lunch rush. Has a kids menu, but thats about it for children.

Food was absolutely great! We must've caught them after a rush and during a shift change. Took halfway through our meal to get our beverages and only asked if we needed refills after we were already done eating. Overall, good experience.

I was really excited to come here because I love the HuHot in the Dells so much, it was a very disappointing experience.
We arrived at 11:07 and were the second folks to arrive for the day. We walked in they promptly served the folks in front of us and the walked away from the host station and ignored me and my partner. Several servers walked by us all looking down and ignoring us.
We had to ask to be seated & once we were our server never came over once aside bringing us water, which she did while we were away. We watched her go up to other tables and ask them if they wanted to order appetizers, sodas etc. There is nothing worse than being at a restaurant and feeling like everyone in the place is getting better service than you. Was it because we looked different than everyone else? Was it because my friend was disabled?
Also all of the cilantro and jalapeños in the buffet were straight up rotten/black and the place had just opened.
Really regret not just walking out without paying since you wouldn’t have noticed anyway. Very very bummed one of my favorite spots is ruined for me now. Don’t hire servers that can’t talk to everyone/ treat everyone with kindness and respect.

Almost every time we go, the food is delicious, but the waiters are slow on drink refill and the check. Most of the time I have to flag a waitress down to get a drink or the check.

don't bother coming here on the weekend, arrive at 5 PM had to wait for bowls to get our food, got one plate of food and I got so busy you had to wait a half an hour in line to get your food cooked, half the things ran out and there was a line out the door. it's not worth it for the price or the food or the service.

We have gone to many HuHot locations since we first learned of them. Amazing experience! I would recommend everyone go to one, once in their life! The smells, the taste, the fun! Just maybe not this location... In their defense, it was after the dinner rush, and based on the tip jar, I assume they were swamped. But food all over the buffet, sauce everywhere, out of beef and chicken, and the workers were more worried about topping off the 90% full pineapple and moping the floor. With 2 more hours left, I would think they could wait for it to die down before completing there "tasks". I had to explain to a first time visitor that this was not what to expect from other locations. Our waitress was great, fun, funny, but the rest, management please step it up... these were clearly lack of management issues that can be resolved to provide us a much more desirable experience.

Two or three tables occupied when we walked in around 3 p.m. & I believe one table was an employee. Stood & waited to be seated probably 3-4 minutes before 2 gals finally walked out from the back giggling & it took both of them to seat us? WTH?? Took our drink orders & told us to go up & start our meal prep whenever we wanted, which was fine. Both of us had gone up twice for food. As we were finishing up on our 2nd plates, the waitress brought over our ticket. Mind you, we were there during their "lunch" period, which ends at 4 p.m. Lunch is $13.99, whereas dinner is $17.99. I looked at the ticket & she rang it in at 4:01 p.m. which charged us the dinner amounts. When she came back to the table I questioned her about it. Her reply was, "Oh my gosh...I didn't realize that...it sometimes gets confusing because we have 3 clocks around here & all 3 show different times." Now I would guess that since everything is "on computers" these days the time is "automatically" entered onto the ticket when it is entered...which i would have thought would have been when she entered our drinks at the beginning of our meal. (At this point I should also mention that there were other customers that had come in, waited to be seated & turned around & walked out because no one came out to acknowledge them) Ok...so after some time she came back to our table with a new ticket & it was corrected & to our surprise she also deducted extra. That made us much happier. So I go to pay the bill which was $28+change. I give her a $50 bill & the change...she comes back with $12...umm, no, that's not right...you're shorting me $10. She gave me a look like I was crazy. Nope...won't be going back there no time soon.

love HuHot, just not the West Allis location. worst experience ever at a HuHot. restaurant was not busy. 1pm on Sunday afternoon. they only had 2 waitresses who were also acting as hostess and busser. only 1/2 of the usual offerings, 3/4 were empty. we were there over an hour. never saw anyone refill or even check. love HuHot but wil definitely think twice before going to this location ever again.
It was our first time going here, probably the last. I went in a group of three and the wait staff missed one of us with getting us drinks. The food was buffet style, The way the sauces are labeled is a little bit unclear. I have a severe cilantro allergy and didn’t see it was an option till the end. There was just a big vat of cilantro and I think some of the sauces have cilantro but my eyes and lips started bothering me so my friends finished getting my food and I went and sat down. A portion of the noodles come out burned on every dish I ate I’d say about 10% and it’s kind of unpleasant to bite into a hard noodle.
Additionally the internet has multiple pages and advertisements mentioning a discount for teachers and students on Sunday after 4pm, but this was not the case. Despite showing multiple flyers and internet ads they said it’s on a poster on their front door for some other day and time when you walk in and nothing can be done. When I walked outside I could not find the flyer they were talking about and I tried to Google for the specific location but can’t find anything except the time they tell me is wrong for the deal. Maybe the server didn’t know what he was talking about. We are all students and one of us is also a professor. I probably wouldn’t have stopped knowing we would have to pay full price. The servers were friendly but the accuracy was a miss.
Attached is the only menu I can find with the deal days. Please keep in mind it’s wrong if you see it on the internet like we did.

As someone on a high-protein diet, this restaurant used to be a great option. Now they don’t even offer eggs, their steak is gone, shrimp is on select nights, and the quality of the food is lower than we’re used to - colorless veggies, etc. Really disappointed. Feels like we came at change of shift because no one is manning the host podium and there’s one person at the grill, floors need attention, too. Hair nets should be worn when cooking food, no hair nets around. Yuck.
