Went here for a birthday dinner. Did. Not. Disappoint. The service was awesome. Laid back and professional. The food surpassed my expectations. The goulash was absolutely fantastic. The beer flight was perfect. The red cabbage was exactly what I wanted. My partner had the schnitzel and loved it. A little something for everyone. The music was A+. Joni Mitchell, steely Dan, Paul Simon, etc. made a huge difference. Strongly recommend this place! We had gone to Maders a few months back and did not like it. This is the place to go for German food.

beautiful, cozy building with incredible service and stellar food!!!! best German food i’ve had in ages. Lisa, our server, was so kind and helpful and made the experience so delightful. i got the beef goulash over spaetzle and it was perfect, so tender it literally fell apart with no knife needed! everything we got was so delicious and fresh and you can taste that it’s made from scratch. will definitely come back here next time im in MKE!! thank you!

Got the 3-2-1, check it out. Great old fashioneds. Just a classic German Beer Hall and outstanding fish fry that should be on your rotation. Walleye was amazing, and perch and cod were good too. Poutine unreal, cheese curds yes. Grebe’s rye unreal. Try Station No. 6 for cocktails beforehand.

ordered two of the same beer, got one beer and a mug of foam in the other. wait staff told me that was normal...right. if your lines are that inconsistent or your kegs are empty, tell me what's going on and recommend something else. used to love taking family from out of town here, but I'll have to find a new spot.

Last week our family hosted my uncles celebration of life at Kegel’s Inn. It was a great experience for all of us. One I know my uncle would have loved. The venue was absolutely perfect for the German Oktoberfest theme we were going for. The food was great and the staff were welcoming and prepared. Jessica was very polite and helpful throughout the entire process. She made the decision making process very clear and simple. Would highly recommend anyone to use this establishment for any occasion.

Lemon drop & cheese curds were great! Everything else was just ok but that may be because I don't eat German food often so I'm not used to their way of cooking. The duck was expensive for what it was. It had ok flavor but the potatoes were sticky & gravy ran everywhere (including off the plate). The live band was interesting
