Original Cream Puffs® by the Wisconsin Bakers Association

The staple of the wisconsin state fair has always been a closing treat for my family. It's unfortunate that we will be giving up this old annual tradition after this year's poor quality. The size consistency and lack of cream inside the cream puff has solidified the time for change in this tradition. From the pictures you can see the different sizes and the lack of cream. The cream itself was not as sweet as normal, which makes me believe they may have even changed the cream recipe for a bland favor. For the price point, you are better off going to the Pinecone by Johnson Creek and getting a real Wisconsin cream puff instead of one from wisconsin state fair (@Prairie Farms), which is an Illinois company. I think what disappoints me the most, is that I expected better of the long time favorite. If I could rate it a zero I would.

We felt that the cream puffs were from over night. Puffs were stale, cream was weepy, the Irish cream seemed to have an off chemical taste.

Smaller puffs,higher prices,cmon $34 for a 6 pack?.No cream in them hardly n different taste!

If I have to watch another kid making these touch his face, wipe his hands on his pants, and then pick up food, I'm gonna throw up. Zero food safety. Disgusting

I love cream puffs every year of the fair really ! My favorite really! You need to bring back the eclares . They were missing last year and the year before that . My friend was upset about the eclares not being there. Thank you! Keep up the good work.

We had tickets for 2 creampuffs and we were going to buy 3 more (the ticket even said we could pick them up at the quick stop locations) we stopped there and said we couldn't get the individuals from there (even though the printed ticket said we could redeem it there) so we had to backtrack through the whole fair to the central location, we bought a 3 pack, and used the tickets for the 2 additional ones, and they refused to put them into a box for us and only gave the 3 pack in a box, and the 2 on plated, so ill we could get was little bags that smashed the cream puffs in them.. We had this issue last year, but this year the tickets did say we could redeem at the creampuff quick stop and yet again we were told they couldn't give us individuals and wouldn't let us buy 1 more to make it a 3 pack..
