Was in Milwaukee for my first ever visit attending a basketball tournament. We found this spot through a search and decided to stop by on our way back to home. The food was great. Service was great. Next time I'm in Milwaukee I'm going back.

I brought back six pounds of cheese for my coworkers, my mom and my aunt. I have heard nothing but compliments!For myself, I tried a chocolate fudge & cheese combination. It was deliciously rich.The staff gave me excellent advice as to how to transport the cheese home to New York City and how to best ship to Orlando for my mom. Had I listened to them when they said to put them in my CHECKED LUGGAGE, I would not have had a problem with the TSA. I lost my electric clippers when they went through my carry on bags to examine the cheese! They forgot to put my clippers back in my bag and I did not think to look for them!I would love to visit them again! Next time, I will follow their directions without thinking I know better.

My partner and I have been coming to Cheese & Sausage for years and we have loved it every time. We both have work in the service industry and try to be mindful of closing times when going to restaurants. However, we foolishly forgot to check Sunday, March 24th and did not realize closing hour was 2pm. There was a miscommunication when ordering (it was probably my fault because I'm a really soft spoken person) and we didn't get one of our entrees, and everyone made sure we got what we needed even after hours, and was so kind about it. Since we work in the industry, we know how frustrating or how frazzled last minute mess ups can make you feel so we really appreciated it.Please be sure to give everyone working that Sunday, kitchen and front of house, our thank you for how efficiently they resolved the problem and how kind they were to us even when they were trying to close up and go home.We hope Cheese & Sausage recognizes the great team they have there!

Love seeing all the local Wisconsin products sold here! Such a great variety of goods too! The staff is so friendly and nice ... we'll be shopping here more regularly for sure!We stop in about monthly now to purchase goods and sometimes eat. Everything is always so fresh, and the people are great. We like going when it's less crowded because it's a smaller space, but even when it is pretty packed, it's worth it!

Loved the selection of Wisconsin favorites. With so many delicious cheeses available it's hard to choose only a few! The cheddar soup brought me back to being a kid and coming to Wisconsin to visit family. The bloody Mary was amazing and a meal in itself! ? Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Off street parking available.

My husband got me a charcuterie bouquet for Valentine’s Day. Guess how much this cost? $75! It came in a plastic deli container. There wasn’t very much food in the bouquet. I could’ve made this at home for five dollars. My husband thought he failed me but I appreciated his thoughtfulness. I will not be getting any other specials from here ever again. Total rip off.

This cheese haven and bakery is stumbling. The aroma of fresh bakery, food. This is a great and comfortable place to sit down and eat and have a cup of coffee. It's a little jam-packed often so I would definitely go in the morning. Limited amount of seats. I would also go there for alcohol or root beer.
