The Thai Curry noodle dish with shrimp is beyond delicious. I can't stop thinking about how good it is. I definitely recommend it.

Very friendly and prompt service. They definitely know what they are doing there.

Been wanting to go here for a while. Excellent service and food. We had maple old fashioned to start which were delicious. My husband had the blue gill fish fry. So good, tender fish with light breading, freshly made coleslaw. I had the hanger steak medium rare with creamed spinach and fries. Cooked perfectly. Really enjoyed it. Coffee and a gourmet homemade berry pop tart for dessert. We're stuffed! Go!

Super cute place. Friendly staff. Food tasted great. Ham was heated nicely, was not over cooked. They substituted the potatoes for salad at my request. Great experience overall.

Had the duck fat burger and birria tacos! The ladies ringing everything up were very sweet and the man who was handling the food was also very nice and helpful with our sauces and food to go! Definitely worth the stop! Side note our toddler also loved the burger!

Stopped at Wild Roots for lunch on a beautiful Friday afternoon towards the end of September. Wild Roots has a condensed menu, and the duck fat burger stands out. It might be the best burger in Milwaukee. It’s certainly superior to the Oscar’s and Sobelman’s burgers. It makes ordering anything else off the menu difficult.

While the restaurant wasn’t crowded, the minimal staff had difficulty keeping up. In fact, our bartender might have been the only server. She worked her tail off.

I will return to Wild Roots and will force myself to order something other than the stellar hamburger.

My boyfriend and I were out for a fun night out and ended our night at Wild Roots. We had the best bartender Gabby, she was super fun and nice, she took the time to really explain the history of the restaurant and go over a ton of items on the menu to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. We had a blast, thank you Gabby!!

Amazing food! Amazing service! Our server Gibby was outstanding. She was so attentive and kind. She’s an elite server at an elite restaurant. If you go once, you’ll wanna go again. Unless you’re a Karen, don’t be a Karen…

My fiancée and I stopped in tonight and it was not planned. We'd been in a few times previously. I decided to try the trout and my fiancée had the duck fat burger. He didn't want the extra fat so asked for it without. My fish was so delicious and cooked perfectly. Then I tried his burger. I have to say I've had a lot of things in my mouth over the years but this by fat was the best! I wanted to steal his food and finish it! I absolutely love this place! And the broccoli..don't get me started. The server Laura, and the bartender (I wish I could recall her name), they were incredibly friendly, sweet and funny! I can't wait to go back. 5 stars!! I love this place!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Wild Roots Restaurant in Milwaukee with my girlfriend, and it was a positive experience from start to finish. The restaurant boasts a clean, modern, and inviting atmosphere that immediately sets the tone for a great meal.

The food was freshly made and delicious. We started with some nice appetizers and drinks. Bulgogi meatballs were an excellent appetizer. The white sangria was refreshing, and the locally made sodas were a nice touch. For our main courses, I highly recommend the burger made in duck fat and the steak frites – both were cooked to perfection and flavorful.

Service was excellent; we were seated right away, and the staff was attentive and friendly throughout our meal. One suggestion for improvement would be to offer a selection of tap beers, as they currently only have bottled options, which is unfortunate.

Overall, Wild Roots is a wonderful spot for a nice casual meal, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for great food and a pleasant dining experience.

Dropped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised! Sat at the bar and ordered the Pork Belly Bahn Mi with a side salad and was immediately happy with my choice! Bahn Mi had fresh soft bun and the pork belly was nice and crispy while still tender! Salad was lightly coated in dressing with fresh greens! Will return!
