I stopped at the Chocolate Factory in West Bend and ordered a turkey sub meal. Prior to today, I had never experienced any issues worth noting. I placed my order and swiped my card as usual. The cashier then walked away, and I proceeded to fill my soda cup at the fountain, as is customary. The cashier then approached me in front of other employees and customers, stating that he did not recall me paying for a soda. I found this remark to be insulting and rude, as I had ordered a meal and trusted that the payment was correct. I did not always verify the amount due to the swift appearance of the tip prompt. After reminding him that I had ordered a meal, he simply walked away, leaving me uncertain as to whether I was expected to pay separately for the chips and soda, which would have made the meal more expensive. I inquired with another employee, who informed me that the cashier WAS the manager. I was left in a state of limbo. He eventually returned and stated, "Forget about it," without offering an apology. Meanwhile, I had been falsely accused of theft. As a result, I do not anticipate returning to this establishment in the near future. It was a pretty awful experience. To top it off, the soda was a bit flat.

Really great food and ice cream. Loved the variety. There was plenty of suave to eat indoors and outdoors, and everything was served promptly. The menu was a little overwhelming at first (in a good way!), but staff was super helpful and patient with our large family. A definite must stop for anyone passing through!

We live over 2 hrs away. We have never seen such an awesome place. Ice cream was very good. Highly recommend the drive. We will be back.

The people here are really decent, and the sandwiches, etc ...are pretty good. Only thing that needs improvement is consistency. Sometimes, the sandwiches come out scrawny or with limited extras. I've paid for cheese, and not gotten it. Or, I get a tiny 1/2 tomato on each sandwich half, not covering it. A small bit of lettuce or onion. I hate spending $11 on a sandwich and leaving hungry.

9/4/24...Sicilian, Tuna Salad, and kids hot dog meal. Kids hotdog was 6y/o approved plus nice variety of chips. Sicilian and Tuna were normal, sub ingredients are basically the same everywhere. Bread was better than most though. Where they lost stars was the cleanliness. All the boths were dirty with crumbs. With 4 or 5 ppl working and we were the only customers, someone maybe should clean up. Everyone was friendly. Ice cream is always a 5 star.

Love the subs but seems the staff wanted to close before the Friday (July 12th) 9pm listed closing time. Were closing up things. Still pleasant and willing to take order for subs, but they skipped toasting the subs. The Chocolate Factory is our favorite sub places because they toast our subs. Disappointed.

I normally don’t do fast food too often. The Chocolate Factory was under my radar, but my wife and I ate there the other day prior to shopping. The service was excellent and people were very friendly and helpful. Food came out quick (and added like was the bun on the sub was warm). I had classic turkey sub and was surprised how good it was. Atmosphere, hey it’s a small chain restaurant, but I did like it over most other fast food restaurants. Nice decor with local school student art on the wall. Nice touch.

Food seemed okay, but we had to return a sandwich because the mayo tasted off. We were told the mayo was fine and had horseradish in it. I guess I should have used my psychic superpowers prior to ordering.
