True definition of a good ole Wisconsin dive bar. We were traveling and in the middle of no where and needed some lunch. The food was super yummy! Delicious pretzel bites, Mac and cheese bites were way better than most! They had cod bites as a special and they were super tasty!
First , when we arrived from Illinois, it didn't look inviting, but we went inside,to have a beer , turned out to be an amazing place and the food was delicious had the fish fry was cooked perfectly the pretzel bites were to die for
I've driven by this place a lot on my way to/from Appleton and finally decided to stop in, very glad we did! It was a Friday and was looking for a fish fry. We were there early, around 4:00, and the bar was almost full already. Figured that was a good sign and it was. The perch is great, bartender made a delicious old fashioned, and by the time we left the dining room was filling up also. Like I said it was early.
