First time at Jack Pandl's. We had a reservation for 4, but it turned into 5 at the last minute. They were very accommodating to give us a larger table. Loved the quiet and warm supper club atmosphere. We all had one of the Friday fish fry menu items and all delicious and generous. The server, Travis, was very friendly and attentive. Will be back!
Fish fry is very good on Friday. Potato crusted Cod is very good. Ruben sandwich is very disappointing. Bread is nothing special, corn beef is cut to thin, and sauerkraut is applied very light. The Ruben tasted greasy and was poorly made.
There was a large party that was breaking up when we arrived. We had to weave through everyone milling around the tables to be taken to the outside edge of the dining room. We ordered an appetizer that never came, my brandy old-fashioned arrived with a bug in it that I had to fish out with the straw, my baked potato with what I thought was sour cream arrived with my dinner, but instead of sour cream, it was creamy horseradish sauce, and the baked fish dinner only arrived with one small piece of fish. The fish was good.and the service was average, but I was underwhelmed and most likely won't be back.
Family celebration, warmly welcomed, appetizers delicious especially the onion rings and rye rolls. Good selection of entrees and sides, enjoyed the fish fry. We paid more for breakfast that morning - great value. Will return when in the area.
We had not been to this restaurant in probably 40years. Since it was out 40th Anniversary we decided to go someplace that was still around from back then. Pandl's it was. The food quality, atmosphere and service is still top notch. Everything was wonderful, Will now have to keep it in mind, so we do not wait that long to return.
The charming ambiance of Jack Pandl's Whitefish Bay Inn is only surpassed by its outstanding food and gracious service. It is a Milwaukee gem.
Not the best evening. And it boals down to attention to detail by the Ownership. Looking forward to an evening with friends after a 20 yr. absence from this memory maker. They had an Event, closing the restaurant at 8 pm. Who does that on a Saturday night! They should have never opened to the public that evening if the Event took precedence. Decor was tired. You can still have an old- school look with refreshed decor. Staff was clueless with the concept of Gluten-free (for one of our dinners) and I assume the kitchen as well. I have fond memories of this spot from the ‘80's & 90's. No need to return.
Food is always a treat, especially the whitefish. Service is excellent, and a special shout out to Jason!
I love to eat at pandl's. The atmosphere, the history and the truly fresh abd delicious meals are what keep me coming back for over 70 years!
Steak was overcooked - sent back and corrected. In general, the area is not accessible, if you are disabled, I do not recommend.

Excellent quality food in a wonderful atmosphere that is reminiscent of Door County. Best fish fry in Milwaukee with its perfectly breaded perch and homemade tartar sauce.
Great experience on the patio. Cheesy spaetzle was perfect.
The food was amazing, absolutely gourmet from the bread to the weinershnitchzel I had. My water cup was virtually never empty. The waiter even boxed the to go meal. Try and get a reservation, or expect to wait a bit at the bar. Surprisingly kid friendly.
Food was good. Wish they had a few more fish options. We arrived during a shift change and our waitress was working a double due to them being short staffed. Bailey was GREAT! She took good care of us and provided excellent service.
Very cute! The food is good and the location is near the lake so it is an easy walk! And Always full of people!
