Went to the ding tonight. Walked in and were acknowledged by staff upon arrival. So we proceeded to seat ourselves at a table. Was anyone going to bring us menus? Not a chance (at least not in the 30 minutes we waited). After watching staff serve other tables, multiple people from my table tried going to the bar to request menus and was avoided by the bar staff (they saw us approaching, but BOTH bartenders split up and went separate directions and avoided looking in our direction as though they didn’t care to even speak to us). We went back to the table and waited a few more minutes and then decided that this establishment clearly didn’t care that we were there so I made the bar staff aware that their service is terrible to which their reply was “okay” and we went to a different place to get food and drinks. To say I’m disappointed is a serious understatement. I like to support local businesses, but this place does not deserve my business if they can’t even treat me with the slightest bit of hospitality.

I liked everything about this place except my fried perch dinner. The perch were not delicate and flaky, they were leathery. Excellent service, excellent drinks, spotlessly clean.

I stopped here years ago, and unfortunately, I gave a 1 star rating. We were back and discovered they remodeled/added on, and the bar is awesome. The bartender was very friendly and our lunch was delicious. Certainly "off the beaten" path, but we'll definitely be back.
