“Interesting bar! We stopped in for one to stretch our legs from biking and found this bar across from an old BP gas station that sells fishing tackle, gas and guns which is a whole other review.This bar looked like a historical part of the town, which of course added to the appeal of checking it out. We stepped inside and were taken back by a smell which seemed like musty or garbage. Honestly that’s the only reason I am taking a star off. The smell was pretty intense. The bar keep is amazing! So friendly, and makes perfect drinks. The prices were so reasonable, you could drink all night on $50 and have top shelf.We went out on the deck, which made the experience even more cool. The view was amazing! The deck was a little sketchy, due to it being older, so there was some definite funhouse tilt going on, but you quickly forget because the music is good, the drink is good and the view is perfect. I would stop in again. Just for the experience. The locals are a hoot. Very friendly!”

“We were there for Friday night fish fry. We were a party of 12 on the waitress’s first night. Service was excellent! The food was outstanding, and portions were above average! Atmosphere was great! More than enough seating with a peaceful lake view! The cheesy clam chowder soup could possibly be the best soup I’ve ever eaten. I wish I would’ve taken some pictures. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. Highly recommend! And we will definitely return!”

“Nice country bar and grill but they have a lot of extra charges. We had a tap soda refill and were charged another $2.50. I asked for extra sauce on my burger and was charged .50 for dipping sauce and a to go container was .75.”

“Drove from the Madison area and it was definitely worth the drive! My wife and I shared a couple two meat plates and every meat was great. I love smoked meats that have a prominent smoke flavor with a good flavorful rub. The brisket was amazing with great bark, a good smoke ring, eye tender, and moist. The burnt ends were slightly dry in texture, but the flavor and sauce were awesome. The ribs were fantastic. Smoke flavor and tenderness was top notch. Pulled pork could’ve used a bit more smoke flavor, but it was super tender and moist, so I can’t find any real fault there. The sides we tried were great! I had the grits and greens, and my wife had the cornbread as well as the Mac and cheese. Service was quick despite it being rather busy when we were there. Good thing I don’t live closer, because I’d be broke and much heavier than I already am. I will be back, though.”

“We love this place! Always fun, pity, kind people including the bartenders, cooks, wait staff. Fun atmosphere. Put out a wonderful spread of food during Packer games. We recommend it and tell friends about this place often. Hideaway has become our new favorite place to go for food, drinks and fun! The bartender, Connie, even dances while she works behind the bar. “From the gargantuan Oak Tree that shades the parking lot to the abundance of wildlife in the surrounding marsh and lake...you feel at home in nature. Walking into the resturant feels like you're visiting friends for lunch. The Sunday broasted chicken was some of the best I've ever eaten. The Bloody Mary bar had every pickled veggie you could ask for...and eggs and bacon! Worth the stop, worth the drive! We drove 50 miles to eat lunch. We will do it again!”

“The building looks a little rough from the outside but the inside was clean and classic of an a&w. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. I had the mushroom burger and I thoroughly enjoyed it.”

“I was visiting some friends ,i live 4 hours away. We had a couple pizzas delivered. I had a veggie pizza, really good. I think it's my new favorite pizza. Everytime I visit there now,I will definitely have their pizza.”

“In these times of restaurants consistently looking for help, it was crazy good to walk in and see multiple servers and a ton of cooks. We each ordered a medium pizza a piece cuz who doesn't love left over pizza. We ordered the gourmet, marqarita and shrimp made to order. Delicious pizzas that come out fast and hot. Great service too. And of course, loved the left overs.”

I wouldn't recommend parking right up next to the building that's near the entrance during a time that's very busy because the 1 way street to get out is also where the fast food takeout line starts. “Popped in here on a couple of occasions while in the area. Good food, the owners were friendly, other customers were nice and there's a huge pig! What else do you need? This place hosts pool tournaments and gets packed, so be forewarned, sometimes its hard to get in to.”

“Went here on 2/26/24 First time I have ever been to this Subway. Located in Wautoma WI. It's right off hwy 21 near downtown. Store is in what I think used to be a home at one time? Right on a corner. Can't miss it. Use the app and order ahead and u can pick it up as u go thru town. I think they also have a drive thru window? I got a footlong BMT. Had A coupon. Bread was very fresh. All the veggies were very fresh. I did each half the sand which inside. Tuesday store itself was very clean. I would recommend this Subway. There are some other fast food places in town, but they will take some time to get used to the food. So I would say hit up Subway! U til the next review, Steve-O, out!”

“We had 2 large orders of moo goo gai pan, 2 drinks really pricey for almost $28.00 !!! Food was good but in order to make the meal last, we ate sparingly & took half home!! In my home area, a huge buffet is under $10 & all you can eat!!!!!!
