Nice country bar and grill but they have a lot of extra charges. We had a tap soda refill and were charged another $2.50. I asked for extra sauce on my burger and was charged .50 for dipping sauce and a to go container was .75.

The food is good, service excellent, but it would be nice if there was an alternative to deep fried or fattening everything. Just a side salad vs. fries would be great, or veggies.Vegetarian options: Salad or vegetables would be great. It's either potato salad or fries.

Had a walleye fish plate came with coleslaw 2 big pieces of fish marbled bread and French fries with the skins on. Then for dessert we had 2 apple egg rolls with icecream topped with carmel. An excellent meal ? the gals waiting on customers were very helpful and friendly.Was a wonderful experience going there.Kid-friendliness: The Family that came in took the table we were seated at as we were leaving. Waitress quickly cleaned the table so they didn't have to wait.Wheelchair accessibility: Cement walk way in Front of building with access to the bar.

I've been here 3 times now and everytime I was not happy, the staff is not friendly at all, not kid friendly, and the food was not very good, I do not recommend this place.Kid-friendliness: They have no kids menu, no high chairs, the chairs they do have are very high up so you can't even sit your child on one if they are very small, very disappointed in this place

This country bar and grill would be easy to miss, and that would be a shame. The pickup trucks in the lot indicate it's a local favorite. I quickly found out why. I sat at a high top. A sign said no table service, order at the bar, but the very friendly and sneaky cute bartender came over. She was a middle aged blonde who said she liked her job, had been at it a while. My brother arrived and we both ordered mushroom Swiss burgers. The menu said everything is locally sourced. I like that. Since there's no wait staff, it was the cook who delivered the food. I liked that, too. The burger was good, the atmosphere warm, the people friendly, the prices fair. What more do you need? If you can find Wild Rose, Wisconsin and drive East a few miles to find The Ding. Be sure to ask how it got that name. The theories are interesting.

We were visiting the area from out of town and so glad we stopped here for dinner! The breading on the fried mushrooms was delicious and you could tell the burgers were fresh and made to order. Would definitely recommend!
