Canceled our New Year's Eve reservation, citing a change in management. I understand that operational changes happen, but canceling confirmed reservations just five days before New Year's Eve shows a serious lack of consideration for customers' plans. With guests coming in from out of town, we are now scrambling to make alternative arrangements at the last minute. While we have always had good experiences there in the past--including last New Year's Eve--this situation has left us unwilling to return once they reopen.
This restaurant is highly overrated. Overpriced and limited menu for non steak entrees. Very noisy. Very poor service. I ordered my sirloin steak medium well and it came extremely raw. It took 10 minutes to get the attention of our waitress while everyone else at my table were eating their dinners. The waitress took my plate with no apologies and I waited another 10 minutes before she brought it back. Again, no apologies. I ate by myself as my table mates had already finished their dinners.
Everything was going great until out waitress told us her manager needed her to flip the table. We were still eating, still had two bottles of wine open, and hadn't even looked at dessert option. I have NEVER been asked to leave a table within an hour and 15 minutes. Especially when we spent 600.00 for four people. So our steak and desserts got boxed up, and our wine got moved to the crowded bar area to finish. Unacceptable for a place that calls itself "fine dining". Unless you inhale your food and plan on not visiting with the people you go with, don't go.
Wonderful experience! Fantastic service, delicious food.
Excellent service from Leslie who took care of my husband's birthday dinner. 11 of us family members and we enjoyed everything we ordered. We didn't feel rushed at all ... It was a first time experience for most of us. We enjoyed the entire meal... You can't go wrong with surf and turf and lobster soup. So tasty and flavorful. We all definitely want to return. Reservations are a must . It was a Thursday evening and when we arrived for our 6pm reservation, it was full of patrons . Really... If I could have eaten more, I would have::-))
Tick Tock Prepare to be harassed and bullied with their pre-allotted one hour and 15 minute timeline for dining. 6/26/25 Worst dining experience ever at Stage Stop, my former favorite restaurant for birthdays. Attempted to Catch up with my friend on his birthday for dinner that I have not seen for some time. Despite having a reservation, I was disappointed. I've been going to this restaurant for 30 years. Now money hungry, prioritizing turning tables over a pleasant dining experience. -Our server, Victoria, rushed us, asking for our order five times in 10 minutes, sharing the next reservation time. Asked for a drink order at least 4 times. When I requested the manager, I was told this is their new operating procedure. Both the server and manager were unreasonably stern. The server assumed a tip on a $135 bill and asked if I wanted change when paying with two $100 bills. Still left a $20 tip, should have left nothing. -After stating I'd never return, the rudest female manager ever said, "Sounds good, sir." The restaurant also had flies. 🪰🪰 🤮 We left before their next “stated”reservation time. I will NEVER go back. PS My one star reviews are reserved for very special places…Stage Stop has made the all time, most awful restaurant….ever. It’s their belief they can treat customers however they want with rudeness and condescension for even the appearance of possibly going over their predetermined one hour and 15 minute timeframe. It’s also our birthday tradition to have ice cream drinks after dinner but I refused to spend a single penny more than 1 adult beverage each after how poorly we were treated. Cutting our evening short, arrived 430 left at 545. Thanks Victoria and Stage Stop for destroying our night out.
Your rude staff completely ruined my friends birthday. Your policy to rush patrons through their meal is unacceptable.

Parking: If there was one thing, THEY WILL NOT split the check for a large group, neither the dining room, nor the bar. You would think with today's technology, would not be so difficult. Still worth the effort.

I'll just say excellent all around. Special shout out to Jodi for being a great server. Their chef makes a steak and treats his customers the way it should be done. Thanks everyone! Made my wife's birthday dinner a memorable one.
