Peg's Pleasant View Reviews
Worst steak and eggs breakfast I've ever had. Eggs brown on both sides, steak was all gristle except for two bites. There's a reason nobody comes here for breakfast, the food is just plain bad.
The worst steak and eggs breakfast I've ever had. Eggs over easy were brown on both sides and I was only able to get two bites out of the steak, the rest was gristle. There's a reason that nobody comes to breakfast here, it's because the food is substandard at best.
Pegs has been our go to for great prime rib on Saturday, but the last 2 times we've gone there, about a month between visits because it's a bit of a drive for us, the prime has been drowning in soy sauce, and the au jus has been the same. Very disappointing. Hopefully it will change, but if not, will have to find somewhere new...

Peg's Pleasant View is a cash-only restaurant that offers a cozy and friendly atmosphere, popular among locals. The service is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. The menu features homemade meals, such as a delicious goulash, and the Bloody Mary is highly praised. The owners, Peg and Sissy, are commended for their cooking skills and hospitality. The restaurant is known for its great vibe and reasonable prices, making it an ideal spot for those seeking home-cooked meals. Recently, visitors have enjoyed the welcoming and brightly rustic environment, along with a small but mighty soup, salad, and potato bar. The build-your-own burger with four toppings and a large variety of options is also highly recommended. The chicken and wild rice soup has been praised as some of the best around, and all the potatoes served are super yummy. Customers appreciate the friendly staff and the way they include children, making the experience enjoyable for the whole family. Parking is ample, and the kid-friendly atmosphere is a plus. Many visitors look forward to returning to try other dishes like prime rib, and some have even bought the famous honey mustard to take home. Overall, Peg's Pleasant View remains a beloved spot for great home cooking and a warm, welcoming environment.
