Having worked in the restaurant industry for 30+ years I cannot believe what I'm about to tell you. You should probably plan to eat here when it's busy, you'll get better service. We walked into a near empty restaurant (only one other table) were given menus, then proceeded to wait at least 10 minutes for our server to show up. The service was incredibly slow. There were not enough staff food was pretty decent. I had the barbecue nachos and the brisket mac & cheese I would definitely order it again. The layout of the restaurant is very cramped in the lower level I feel like the waitress only came back to our table only once or twice.
I was happy with the brisket and tips. The corn bread muffin was tasty! The pickled onions with the few pickle slices was a nice touch. It added flavor. I think my favorite sauce (they have 3 BBQ sauces on the tables) was rich and sassy. Overall, I had a good experience here. The food was tasty!
