Prices are definitely up there because you’re paying for the hot rock experience, which I would say is fair. Steak was slightly bitter without extra seasoning and sauce. I really liked the garlic parm sauce, and the potato wedges were super crunchy. You can pay an extra $13 to purchase a novelty mug. Death by chocolate cake dessert was great but not cakey, tasted like a compact dark chocolate mousse. Would definitely come back for a date night, and our server was amazing! I wish I remembered her name.

Hot Rocks was one of the most unique dining experiences we had in Wisconsin Dells. We were looking to try something different, and this definitely delivered.
The concept is simple but a lot of fun—you cook your food on a 750-degree hot rock right at your table. It made dinner feel interactive and gave us something different from the typical restaurant experience.
We ordered the ham and the blackened mahi mahi. Both were very good, and cooking them ourselves on the hot rock added to the enjoyment. One thing to note: the ham portion was generous, so be prepared for a lot of ham if that's what you order!
We also got drinks that came with a collectible novelty glass, which made for a fun souvenir from the trip.
The atmosphere was another highlight. It was relatively quiet and easy to hold a conversation, which was refreshing compared to some of the louder restaurants in the area.
Compared to many of the other restaurants we visited in Wisconsin Dells, Hot Rocks felt like one of the better values. It's still moderately priced, but it was a little less expensive than some nearby options while offering a much more memorable experience.
Overall, Hot Rocks combined good food, a relaxed atmosphere, and a unique dining concept that made it one of our favorite meals of the trip. If you're looking for something fun and different, this place is definitely worth a visit. Our water was great and attentive. Plus they have a button to call waiter, though we did not need to use it!

The food was just okay. I've been to Black Rock in Michigan and I feel like this place is not quite as good. For $39 I want my steak seasoned and cooked perfectly. My steak wasn't bland but wasn't incredibly tasty. They were out of mashed potatoes and the toss salad was not good when we were there.

Loved it. Came for Father’s Day. Food was great. Cooking on the Hot rock with the family was fun! Drinks were good and plenty of options for everything! Atmosphere was a vibe for sure. Staff was friendly and the place was clean! No complaints!

We were seated by the hostess and then sat there for 20 minutes and no one even stopped by to drop off water much less give us a chance to order food. The bartender had direct line of sight to our table and several servers walked back and forth and no one checked on us. While we had two disappointed kids, we are now enjoying a much better experience at Ravina Bay on beautiful Lake Delton.

I had an outstanding experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and upscale without feeling pretentious. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations.

The food was ok and the service could have been better. I'm only saying this because of the waitress we had.

This place was pretty cool. It's themed and a little cheesy, but perfect for the area. Cooking on the lava rocks was neat, and the food was Good! A fun experience for sure.

Gift was an amazing server. The restaurant was good, but the service made it special, especially as we had a large birthday party for them to handle.
