We checked in this afternoon around 3:305-5-2024. When I made arrangements to stay.I asked for walk in-shower Or handicap room. Got a suite long way away from everything way to far from water park to walk. Now the car can't be in the parking lot by our roomso workmen can work tomorrow. So unreal. So unhappy I am. If I would have know this stuff I would have not choose to go to this resort. Oh the kitchen floor was dirty, there someones Brazilian tag under our bed. Not happy with location of the room.

We have been staying at the Kalahari every summer for about 5 years. We honestly always have pretty good experiences (sans when rides are sometimes unexpectedly closed). It is definitely one of our preferred places to stay in the dells, though.HOWEVERIf you are going to make a reservation, make sure you don’t mess anything up on the booking pages, because they will NOT price adjust or accommodate. We tried to take advantage of their “splash sale” which is 30% off rates. We do this every year, as it is the only way we can afford to stay at the kalahari, and we look forward to it every summer.I normally make the booking, but this year my boyfriend did it for us. He did not see a place to apply a coupon code, so just assumed the rates already reflected the sale and booked (from his third shift job a few hours before the sale ended. I only got an email for the sale 8 hours before it ended). The next morning, he showed me the reservation, which I could see reflected the normal full rate (not what the sale rate should have been), so I called Kalahari to explain the mistake, and ask if we could have an adjustment. They told us that sale was over, and there was nothing they could do. We showed them proof that we made the reservation within the time of the sale, and asked if we could get any sort of vouchers or anything as we are faithful customers and they told us they could do nothing. I find it hard to believe a huge resort can do NOTHING about a mistake made less than 12 hours ago….So, just out of my own curiosity, I wanted to see where you enter the coupon code when you’re booking to see if I could tell why my boyfriend didn’t see it, and saw that you can only enter these codes in literally one small place that’s easy to miss, at the very beginning of your booking (literally when you select the dates, it’s a tiny part way at the bottom of the form and fairly hidden if booking on your phone). They do not ask for a discount code on the confirmation page or any other time during the booking. So if you miss it, you missed the sale, and they won’t do anything about it. That seems deliberately confusing to me. I’m sure we aren’t the first to forget or miss that part!!We love this resort, but beware when you’re booking that you don’t have any mistakes, cause they’re not gonna help you!!

Not what i would call an honestly nice experience. The resort itself is very clean. But it is a people mill. Think of an assembly line churning out product. Only difference is the they are churning you and sucking your money. They purport to be veteran/military friendly with discounts. And when you call in for a reservation, they put off the actual discount and say they can't do that right now. Then upon arrival, adding charges over and avove the evenings advertised price. I was there in off season and spent 400 for two people, a child and myself. Most of the resort is closed and unavailable and isn't open during off seaon and yet they are still gigging you over the full normal booking for a one night stay, in addition to putting you in a room that is the furthest away from the attractions while charging an an exorbitant fee. And then there is the 200 dollar deposit for incidentals. No matter how pretty the place is, I would never ever give them my business again. As a veteran, i felt slighted with their advertising a 22 percent discount, while they gave me 10 percent after adding additional fees and expenses that were not disclosed on their website. Most of the staff is foreign students, and while have no objections to it, there is an occasional language barrier and a blank look upon their faces when you ask them for some help or consideration. The actual manager treated me withsome disdain, and actedlike the ten percent she gave me was a large gift after charging over and above the listed rate. Again i would say it it is a very clean resort. But I was unimpressed with their overall setup. And while construction and repairs are being made, i actually expected some consideration rather tjan the maximum pricing and extra charges that goes who knows where. So overall i would grade this as a high level circus carnival rip-off. Much more fun activities and other honest resorts for lower fees and expenses. Mount Olympus is not as fancy, but is a much better bang for your buck.

Kalahari is always a good time! Little frustrated by all the construction, although it was well put on their site, and if the Tom Foolery package, doesn't include everything in the arcade, at least not the one we got.Nearby activities: SO much to do just in the Kalahari Resort but everything does cost something. But plenty in town to do that is close by as well.Walkability: Restaurants are very nearby that are easily walkable too.Food & drinks: Lots of food and drink options in the resort or nearby!

Rooms where disgusting the staff thought I was a minor when my buddies and I went for a bachelor party we was throwing and because I have the rarest birthday the bartender thought I had a fake I'd and wouldn't serve me for a while. The staff was so rude to us and said we where so obnoxious witch noone else complained. We where not allowed in amusement park saying families where considered about us. I've been going there since it opened now I'm never going back.

Fun waterpark with cabanas, large suites with separate bedrooms, comfy beds, Starbucks with room service, shopping & spa nearby. I absolutely love this place and have visited multiple times a year for over a decade! My family has tried all of the other resorts in the Dells, and have actually left the same day to come back to Kalahari! One of my favorite places on earth! Worth mentioning: This property is only accessible to resort guests! Makes it less crowded and super safe!

From the moment I entered the Kalahari resort I finally understood what cultural appropriation meant. I was warmly and check-in was easily done remotely however, that doesn’t always make things easier as the wristbands that let me into my room did not work. The hotel is clean, but quiet the waterpark is also very well kept And I was lucky to be there with my family on an off weekend where we were able to enjoy without too many massive crowds however of flesh bad tattoos and preteen hormones when you spend time in the waterpark, please also be ready to take out a small loan in order to be able to buy drinks and food Overall recommend but damn if the experience didn’t make me feel conspicuously American
