We try to make it to Moosejaw on every trip to the Dells. This last time we visited, it was during off-season. I wonder if the lack of business (i.e. tips) keeps the staff from being on their A-game. Our waiter never cracked a smile. Him and the hostess acted like we were bothering them by coming in for dinner. I never got a water refill.The food was only okay; nothing special. I got salmon with seasonal vegetables (red pepper, green pepper, onion, zucchini, squash) and broccoli. We also ordered the kid's chicken tenders and fries and a cheeseburger. Nothing too adventurous, and nothing stood out as exceptional.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu, highchairs, and a fun cardboard moose antler hat. They didn't have (or at least no offer) for a coloring page and crayons.

Great food, awesome service. The only thing I said no on trying beers and server did it anyway. Was still a great place to visit and take the kids.Kid-friendliness: They gave us all paper antlers. Kids and grown kids alike love it.

I had a rib eye dinner, My wife had the salmon dinner, my son had soup , salad, and burger, my Grandson had garlic toast appetizer, and 14 inch pepperoni pizza. My wife and I will never order salmon or steak dinners there again. I will never recommend this place, but being in the Wisconsin Dells area everything is high priced because it is a tourist attraction. Total bill was $154.00 without 20% tip at $27.00. I should of went to Ponderosa. Next trip thru, I will.
