Delicious food everytime

I ordered tacos asked for corn shells the lady didn’t understand anything that I was saying. Had to Re-clarify a few times and she asked another person they said yes that they could and still received the wrong shells was not able to eat due to allergy.

We wanted to eat outside but they seated us right by the check out. Server didn’t smile and communication was awkward on both our parts. Food was delicious!

Dietary restrictions: I am a celiac and they grilled the fish perfectly.. watch out for corn most of its made with GMO . My neighbor is one who tracks all the GMO corn. They can make corn to us less water and so much more! We’re being a sensitive celiac GMO’s

I have been here many times! Each and every time the employees are courteous, kind, patient, helpful, and ALWAYS have a smile for whoever walks in the door! The amount of delicious food you get for the price is more than worth it! ??

My goodness, I loved and missed this place so much! I recently traveled to Wisconsin with my husband, we were helping my mom move out to Virginia. Let me say, El Mezcal will forever be my favorite Mexican Restaurant. I remember when it first opened when I was a little kid and how much I enjoyed the food.
Let me say, NO WHERE in Virginia has bean chimichangas (it’s heart breaking), so being pregnant and craving it, that is what I ordered. It was just as good as I remembered. My husband did love the salsa and found it to be one of the best- which I agree in all honesty.
Everyone who was with us enjoyed the food and pretty much finished their entire plate.
I look forward to coming back in the future with my children when we come out to visit family.
Customer service is always excellent and everyone is welcoming. Hopefully the business never changes in any way.

Consistent with other El Mez restaurants which means its outstanding food, atmosphere, and very attentive service. Margs are spot on, great experience! Free chips and salsa which isn’t common anymore at other places.
