Real deal BBQ. Generous portions at a fair price.

Excellent pulled pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw delicious, cheese curds perfect!
The staff was courteous and aimed to please. Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream for dessert was an added caveat. Would go again the next time we visit the area.

We saw the smokers going from the road while visiting WI Rapids, WI and couldn’t resist stopping. Derek greeted us at the counter and recommended the smoked, pulled pork and we chose to try all three of their bbq sauces and the baked beans. It was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Just smokey, flavorful, goodness. We will surely be back!

We were in Rapids and saw the Shack at the side of the road and predicted this place is going to have very tasty food. Meat being smoked outside smelled delicious. We all had the pulled pork sandwich and it was melt-in-your mouth tender. I had the mild BBQ sauce, while husband and son had the sassy sauce. The beans and cheesy potatoes were also very good. We enjoyed it so much, we got a pound of shredded pork and shredded beef to go. They have some big picnic tables inside for indoor dining, but also have a drive through window. Highly recommend.

We ate here 2 days in a row & the 2nd day I remembered to take a picture before we enjoyed our lunch. We had the pulled pork sandwiches - really tender meat & flavorful with the “sassy” bbq sauce. The baked beans & cheesy hash browns were great comfort food additions. Finished off with a scoop of brownie (something else…) ice cream. Very good choice.
We really enjoyed our meals & the owner smokes all of his meats & is working hard to grow his business.

Never a disappointment, they have some of the best food in town. Wonderful workers, calm atmosphere, decent prices for as much as you get.

Parking: Not a lot of spots but they have a drive through!

This is the best bbq we’ve had in years. Being from the south, I can tell how much work he puts into cooking the meat. It’s authentic hickory smoked meats, that are cooked fresh every day. It’s has amazing smoky flavor and seasonings and the bbq sauce was perfect!!! The portions are decent and the price is decent. We will definitely be returning here again.. give this place a try, you will NOT be disappointed.
