Stopped for breakfast this morning and tried a breakfast special. I tried the bacon stuffed blue cheese omelette. I was concerned the blue cheese might be too strong. To my delight it was absolutely AMAZING! Would absolutely try again! Great Service! Wish I remembered her name. Thank you!

This place is like a 1960's new car dealership they start with one price and then everything is a high priced option....$70 for 3 kids and 2 adults for breakfast is outrageous....

Best patty melt I've had in a while. Great homemade chips and the breakfast dishes are delicious.
A cozy , warm Place to dine for breakfast or lunch . New owners ,Chrissy and Mike F are welcoming , serve homemade meals made by Mike F , waitstaff are friendly , conscientious. They updated the inside of the restaurant by taking off the old wall paper , painted walls and display on their walls the 5 Lakes in Wisconsin Rapids . Very clean inside , wait can be up to 15 minutes or less . The food is delicious . They offer daily specials both for breakfast and lunch .

We've eaten at Misty's even before it was Misty's & have never been disappointed with anything we've eaten. They are well known for their homemade breads. One in particular is their apple bread that they usually keep next to their cash register. Sadly, with the increase in food costs their apple bread has succumbed to inflation & is now a mini loaf. It's still good though & the perfect size for hubby & I to share. It is a small diner, but we like the food, so it doesn't matter. They have booths, tables and seats at the counter, just like back in the day.

We only waited 2 minutes to be seated, the parking lot was full. The hostess was very warm and welcoming, and kid friendly. Drinks came out quickly, and a full carafe of coffee (nice and strong). The kids mouse pancakes were the size of full dinner plates, homemade bread was seasoned well and flavorful, the green and gold skillet was delicious. All veggies cooked through but not mushy, eggs exactly as ordered and Hollandaise sauce was creamy and smooth. The staff communicated well with each other to keep all orders moving along and tables cleared. Everyone was smiling, very pleasant atmosphere. No photos because everything was eaten quickly.
Kid-friendliness: Staff was very nice, offered kid beverages and color pages only if they wanted them. Took time to let them order on their own and treated them like any other adult customer, respectfully and patiently.

Love this quaint little place. 5 years ago, I rated this place 4 stars but have since changed that to 5 stars. My family goes every weekend now. The food is always delicious (no matter what I order), and the staff are top-notch (especially Carlee). The homemade breads and desserts are also an amazing touch in a world where everyone else sells mass-produced garbage.
