One of the best hole in the wall cafes I've ever found! Staff was great (attentive & personable). We had the pleasure of chatting with the new owner for a few minutes (in between her making her AMAZING desserts.... Y'all need to try her homemade chocolate eclair torte)! We live over an hour away but will DEFINITELY make it a point to come back.

I asked for a WiFi password and was told and I quote “we don’t have one, just talk to each other” which made my day? staff stated they were short staffed and behind but that was wrong for us. We got our food within 10-15 minutes hot and fresh and was very satisfied with everything. Thanks for the great experience . I only rated this one star because those are the ones I usually read first

The food and service here are always really good. It's a good place to sit down, and it feels kind of like a 50s style of diner, which is pretty cool. Good place for breakfast as well. It's always clean, and the prices are good.

This place came highly recommended for breakfast. We were looking forward to going and had high hopes. The service was good. The eggs were served cold the pancake was plate size but it was stuck to the plate. You couldnt even scrape it off it was like they cooked it on the plate. You could only get the middle and top while the bottom stayed on the plate and it was under cooked. Extremely disappointed would never go back.

About 4 miles south of Rapids on the east side of the road adjacent to a small antique shack; very down home looking diner. The hostess was very fun and engaging. We were seated and our order taken promptly. Breakfast was very well prepared. My standard for breakfast service is biscuits and sausage gravy, if they take the time to get this right I am encouraged. Well it was the best I've had in decades, no exaggeration. Homemade wheat bread was also very well baked. You must request condiments. Coffee was diner average to my taste. Had a slice of pumpkin cream pie that was beautifully light and airy and with consistent texture throughout just this side of a mousse. The pie was just the right amount of pumpkin and spice. It was only about at half capacity on a weekday when I stopped in. If I want a tasty breakfast I'll drive the 24 miles here knowing I'll get what I paid for. As always, Tip your server ours was mature and responsive for being the only one on that day.
