Perkins American Food Co.

The food sucks there and from someone that used to work there, most items come frozen or dried and need to be rehydrated. The baked goods and already frozen or the batter comes in a bucket that is scooped into tins and baked. Most things aren't made fresh at all. Will never eat there or work there again.

Food was very good and the waiter was friendly and funny too. Only downside is when I was there, they were out of key lime pie but thats no biggie. Otherwise highly recommended!

Disappointing.

Very good experience today, the food was delicious, and our server was exceptional, I was so wrapped up in conversation with my daughter, I accidentally didn't catch her name. Very good time!

A busy Friday night and they had 2 servers, of course, ours was the slow one. Ordered a burger with just fried onions. Came out with lettuce, tomato, raw onion, and cheese. Had to wait quite awhile to get our take home pie slices and the check. French silk pie was just bad, no whipped cream, just a heavy, thick, super thick glob and a pudding filling. The coconut cream pie was too sweet to eat. Definitely not a good dining experience.

slow service and facility is showing age

I loved the 20% coupon a few weeks back. It allowed us several meals at good prices.

I grew up with Perkins, and many locations have really gone downhill over the years. However, this location still seems to be good. Staff was friendly, food came out as advertised. It's consistent comfort food, and the pies are still very good. Glad to see this location is still providing the good service and food I remember from this chain.

Matt wanted to do one of the skillets as an omelet and the waitress (Michelle, I believe) did a fantastic job getting the details just right and the cook did an amazing job and presentation was beautiful. My sirloin was perfect and my French silk pie was not pictured because I ate it before I thought about taking a photo but it was huge!

Came here tonight around 7pm with my boyfriend and had a great time. The food was amazing. Our waitress was extremely nice and there was only 2 other tables in the restaurant. The wait was not long at all, but the we were given free chocolate milk for the wait. They were also out of rice for my boyfriends meal, so they substituted with fries. Then, when we went to pay for our meals, the host charged us for a cheaper meal because of the fish (I don't remember why exactly). Originally or bill was $54 but he brought it down to $38. Overall, they made up for the changes and we were still very happy with our visit.

Every time I've eaten at Wi Rapids Perkins it has been a great experience! One of My favorite go-to's for breakfast!!
