Shaw Lee Japanese & Chinese

Highly recommend this restaurant! Most get takeout from here but we love dining in. Quiet, great service, and always great food. Bento boxes are perfectly portioned, and make it an entire meal. Our favorite Chinese restaurant in all of central Wisconsin!

I've never had Seafood so overcooked in my life the half Lobster was so stuck in the Shell I had to tear it out and it was so chewy it wasn't worth eating anything that I ordered except for the appetizers

8pm on a Saturday my teen decided we needed Chinese! Lol. I called in my order and by the time I drove to pick it up it was all set for us, which was great. And the food was EXCELLENT! We tried many places throughout the last few years and they all were lacking in quality to what my teen and I were used to for good Chinese, but Shaw Lee nailed it!! We ate for 2 days on all the food we ordered. Soo good!

I’m sorry to leave this review but this was literally the WORST meal I have ever had. Like not worst Chinese food, worst FOOD I’ve ever had to eat. We couldn’t finish it it was so nasty. looked horrible, smelled horrible, and tasted horrible. I literally wouldn’t even feed this to my dog.

We were visiting family in the area and decided to stop at Shaw Lee. The food was good and I especially liked their homemade ginger dressing! Our hostess was also our waitress who was pleasant and attentive. We also found out they deliver👍👍

We just moved here from Florida & we haven’t tried everything yet but this is the 2nd time Ive ordered from them and I’m extremely happy with the food. Today I called around town to see if any of the Asian restaurants in town would make chicken noddle soup as that is one of my favs lol. After being told no a couple of times , they answered & we’re 1000% willing to make it, asked me about how I like it, made some suggestions & I am beaming with happiness right now as I sit here eating my soup 😁 thank yall so very much!!!!!

We decided to try something “new”.

There was no one there when we showed up. So we were a little nervous at first. But when we left MOST of the tables were full!

***DELICIOUS FOOD!!!!***
•The food was VERY filling!
• The employees were very helpful, when deciding what to order.
• Plenty of leftovers.
• All around pretty good atmosphere to eat at.

• It could use a remodel but, it is a BEAUTIFUL place to eat!

Waited nearly an hour for my curry to arrive. Was very disappointed. Food lacked flavor all together. Nothing worse than spending $20 and waiting so long just to be disappointed

This is their so-called "hibachi". It was boiled, not stir fried at all. It was only cooked to mushy chewiness in water, never hit a pan. When I called, they just argued with me, denied my claims and said they have never had a complaint before. The taste was nothing, flavorless. Literally may be the grossest thing I have ever eaten. Chewy meat? ugh. I only had 3 bites and threw it in the trash. Their "hibachi" sauce that comes on the side is like brown apple cider vinegar. I can't believe they charge money for that. I wouldn't eat that if I was on Fear Factor and they paid me!
