We walked into Anthony’s without a reservation. When Katie learned it was a birthday dinner she seated us at the bar and made it a great evening. Mark the bartender was fun and engaging. The for was amazing. This our new favorite in the Northwoods. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We enjoyed every bite! Everything was excellently prepared & artfully presented, pricing was reasonable. It's a small venue so do reserve. Will return & would definitely recommend.
Also, both restrooms were absolutely immaculate & beautifully decorated, felt like home.

We made reservations (based on recommendations from other reviews) and really enjoyed the delicious food and cozy atmosphere. A very welcome change from the typical packed supper club vibe that tourist season brings.
I ordered the crab cakes as an appetizer and the tenderloin medallions cooked rare as my main. Both were phenomenal. The tenderloin was fork tender and had so much flavor! Brussel sprouts were perfectly cooked and some of the best I’ve ever had. The house made olive tapenade was so good that I’d be back for that on its own.
Make a reservation & give it a try if you’re looking for some high quality food in a relaxing environment. We’ll definitely be back.
Great atmosphere and Tony and Katy were very nice. The food was great and service was attentive.
We enjoyed a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner. The antipasto platter was delicious, great salad, and our entrees were delicious. I had lobster bisque. My husband hand the lamb chops. Nice ambience and good service. It was romantic. 🥰
This place is extraordinary! 50 plus years local family owned & spectacular chef. If you are looking for some gorgeous homemade Italian food or just more that the usual Up North fare, this is the place! Great for intimate dinner & great wine selection, but also can accommodate large parties with reservation.
Do not miss this place. We had the Chicken piccata & pistachio crusted salmon- cleaned our plates. Do not pass on dessert
Need a reservation. Up North up scale

We love Anthonys‼️ Katy & Tony & staff do a great job. Ate there last night before we “ fly south” for the season?

Main waitress (owner come to find out) was rude when we arrived without a reservation. We did get seated, after being left unsure if we could eat there or sit at the bar. After we ordered our food we watched her walk by 5-6 times while we had empty drinks. We received our food. My boyfriend’s sauce was not great and I apparently paid $5.00 more for 4 added mushrooms to my entree. The decor is quite tacky for a “fine” dining place. When we finally got our new drinks, mine was not what I ordered, but she seemed too busy to wait for my order. It’s not a big establishment so no reason to wait that long for anything. The parking lot is full of puddles and potholes, I’m not bougie but when I pay over $100 for food I’d expect more. Overall not a good experience.

Tried for the first time ever and absolutely loved everything! Had the charboiled filet, and it just melted in my mouth - so good. Soup/salad comes with each entree, and the nightly special side is included in entrees except pastas. Complimentary cheese tray was delish! Highly recommend!

Some time ago, I made a reservation in person, well in advance for a table next to the fireplace for an anniversary.
When my wife and I arrived, the fireplace table I reserved was occupied by another party. The waitress didn't even apologize and she was the person that I spoke with for the reservation in the first place. That's not the way we do things in the big city.
I remember watching her pull out a chair at a less desirable table and saying, , "I can get you this close" at which point I put my arm around my lovely wife and we just walked out of the door. We took our business to a supper club that we knew of near Minocqua, where we got a romantic table next to the fireplace, without a reservation. Since we had a great evening and enjoyed our dinner all I can say is their loss was definitely our gain!
I have never returned there since. I probably never will.

First time there- we are in area often. Cute dining area by the bar, food was mostly very good. My $6 extra charge wedge salad was disappointing, but presentation was very nice. Wedge was not crisp, like it should be, blue chees dressing was not tasty- plain/weak. Walleye Picatta was delicious, but just fish, and some spinach under it, no potato of any kind. Seafood Alfredo also yummy, but 3 scallops & 2 shrimp for $38.
Waitress never cleared our used plates or empty drinks. Never offered desert, never asked if we wanted another drink. Music was OK but some would like to hear classic Italian! Pricey, tasty, might go again- I did love the walleye!

A very nice evening at Anthony’s Ristorante !
Arrived on time for our reservation (which is highly recommended!) and found plenty of free parking .
Started with a nice cocktail at the bar as our table was being prepared . Very relaxing atmosphere in the restaurant that set the tone for a lovely evening .
Ordered a Veal Piccata , pistachio crusted Salmon and sides of spinach salad . Both dishes came with cauliflower gratin. All the food was well seasoned and very delicious. Cauliflower side was slightly heavy due to cream or cheese , but other wise everything was very good
We will definitely be back !

Very tasty food. Unique environment and friendly efficient servers. Pricing would be my only concern. I am not understanding how a chicken picante is worth 36.00. But then restaurants in general have had to increase prices due to supply and labor costs.
