So much fun to enjoy a supper club in the Northwoods. Very cool place with high end food. Will be back again.

Stopped at Marty’s as we were driving by. What a great decision!! Dining room was full so we ate at the bar. Great service at the bar. Thanks!! We totally enjoyed a Sturgeon dinner with a side of Broccoli medley. The sturgeon was fantastic! We also had steak bites and portobello mushrooms. The wild rice soup was delicious.

We love Marty’s!!!! Dave and Sue, the owners, were there and treated me to a 30th birthday drink. Our wonderful waitress from Europe (so sorry I forgot her name!!!) provided top notch service and the food was DELICIOUS!!! Highly recommend the cheese curds and chicken parm. This is absolutely the best supper club I’ve been to in the north woods!!! MUST GO

Marty's was within walking distance from where we were staying so we figured we'd give it a try. The atmosphere is great - the exterior and interior is a combination of old school supper club with a modern twist. Service was fair. Took almost 20 minutes to get a drink order in and appetizers ordered. One of our guests ordered an additional drink when dinner came out. The drink was finally brought out after we were done eating and ready to leave. The appetizers were the highlight of the meal - fries cheese curds and brussel sprouts were both solid choices. The meal itself was the low point of our dinner. We came for the ribs and broasted chicken special on Sunday night. Disappointed for $48 a head. Ribs were ok but had way too much sauce on them. All of us would have given the chicken a negative star if possible. Terribly dry and burnt. The couple at the table next to us even commented on how happy they were that they didn't order the chicken after looking at ours when it was brought to our table. We also had a side order of orzo with pork belly. The orzo had the same seasoning as the brussel sprouts (an Asian vinegarette) which did not match up well with the orzo and the pork bellies were almost non-existent. It looked like someone took a teaspoon of bacon bits and mixed them in. The group we came with are not fussy eaters at all, but when only 4 pieces of chicken out of 12 were eaten, that says a lot.

Had a wonderful meal here! I wish I didn’t live so far away. I would come here every week for the sturgeon. It was outstanding!

First reservation for the night and we were not acknowledged by staff for several minutes. Very awkward. Once seated waited several more minutes for waitress. Again, only ones there. Waitress recited list of what sounded like specials but were actually ala carte items. We weren't told entire meal is ala carte until we ordered. Ordered drinks which were good. I ordered a second of the same and it came out in a different type of glass, no ice (first was one the rocks) and did not taste like the first. Obviously a bartender mistake. Waitress told me "men are color blind" when I questioned whether it was the same drink. Food was good, service very poor for a place trying to be a high end supper club.

Traditional supper club. Food was delicious, but a bit pricey. Also our server wasn't knowledgeable on a few things on the menu.

Wonderful bar staff who besides being busy still were engaged in friendly banter with patrons. Servers were top notch and the food was excellent! All in all a very delightful experience!

Be aware when you enter this place! It will surpass your best expectations! Located in the beautiful woods of Wisconsin this supper club should not be missed on any visit. Shall we begin? Get there early and sit at either end of the bar for a bit more privacy and enjoy the talented bartenders’ mixology in the drink of your choice. From there, no table is a bad table. The wait staff is punctual, polite and working hard to ensure the cooks’ beautiful dishes arrive hot and fresh. The menu encompasses fish to farm and salads too. We had the steak bites with mushrooms and gravy for an appetizer. Our main courses were Chicken Parmesan, Ribs, Walleye and more. Special attention to detail is appreciated as even the bread’s olive oil is adorned with balsamic vinegar applied to form a capital “M” for Marty’s Place North. Sadly, we were too stuffed for desert, which gives us incentive for a return visit. Thank you Marty’s team for a memorable evening!
