Backdraft BBQ at Gresham Lodge

My husband, son, grandson, and I had a fabulous meal! We all ordered different things and they were all delicious. Our server, Cara, was friendly and informative. The chef, Paul, is so creative and a master with his cooking. . Elena makes the best desserts. We shared a bread pudding and a cheesecake. We will be back!

Enjoyed their Fish-Fry yesterday. All-you-can-eat Wild Alaskan Pollock or Ribs! The fish was very good, their tartar sauce was tasty, and their old-fashions were excellent! Service was friendly and attentive.

First Impressions mean a lot! I just don't know... I think I'm going to have to go back ummm... At least five times in the next 3 months to decide if I like the place LOLOLOL. The flavors of all the smoked meats and the bbq sauces that are served with them are phenomenal!!! I've heard SO MUCH about Back draft BBQ at Gresham Lodge that I thought it was WAY past due to try the place out... It Does Not Disappoint!!! If you leave dissatisfied, it's your own damn fault! I would rank it as the top best BBQ that you can find in the North Woods of Wisconsin. The wait staff is VERY friendly and extremely accommodating. The drink options are awesome choices and are great standards for a Supper Club, but the atmosphere is SO Much More! Go check it out and be ready to be pleasantly surprised. OMG, the menu and food options are to die for and if you don't get at least three additional meals from your take-home containers then you are too much and your not going to be able to move from the tables. MAKE SURE YOU ENJOY THEIR (AGAIN) TO DIE FOR CHEESECAKE OR DESSERTS! You may just want to reserve some space for that. The Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake is a Killer!!! If they don't have any left you missed out...

Had the all u can eat smoked wings. Excellent. Others in my group had the burger and also excellent! We shared the surprise cheesecake and baileys lava cake. Would definitely recommend this place. Friendly staff, cost atmosphere.

We went two nights in a row! The first night was a Wednesday (menu is limited). My husband ordered the wings, and he declared they were the BEST he’s ever had! I ordered a cheeseburger; it was flavorful and done perfectly. Because I heard great things about the Bacon Blackberry Cheesecake Burger, I knew we had to return the next night (for the full menu). That burger was absolutely delicious! Don’t let the name fool you — the flavors work beautifully together. My husband ordered a full rack of ribs (he wanted leftovers) and they were equally delicious. I’ve never had french fries like these …. real potatoes cut and fried perfectly. The homemade cheesecake and apple strudel topped off a wonderful meal. Highly recommend!

My wife and I were here on a Friday night and the food was amazing! Fall off the bone ribs. The best tasting ribs I've ever had but they are spicy! Service was amazing also. I would absolutely come here again.

Paul and Elana did a great job hosting our large dinner group without a hitch! The food was excellent and plentiful from salad to dessert. The cornbread loaves received a 10+ rating. We all went home with to-go boxes for another delicious meal the following day. Highly recommend this clean, Northwoods cozy restaurant

Excellent food and service. The owners Elana and Paul were very friendly and welcoming. Our server CJ was great. We went on a Wednesday night for all you can eat wings or fish. Our group had both. The fish was lightly breaded and tasty. The wings were delicious, they are smoked and seasoned. Sauces are served at the table. The sauces were very good but we found the wings to be great on their own. Elana also makes the desserts, we had several kinds of cheesecake and a chocolate lava cake, fantastic! We will definitely be back!

Great restaurant tucked into the north woods of Wisconsin. Friendly owners Elana and Paul. Our server CJ was outstanding. Our group had clam chowder, the all you can eat fish and wings. Everything was delicious! The wings come seasoned without sauce, several sauces are provided at the table which are very good. But we found that the wings were excellent without sauce! The cheesecakes are excellent as well, all are home made by the owner Elana. She makes an excellent Old Fashioned as well! Definitely will be back!

Best BBQ we’ve ever had. Went on a Saturday kind of late ish and boy were we surprised. We both had the loaded Mac n cheese topped with brisket and a big slice of corn bread and when we had our first bites we said after 35 years in minocqua this simple meal is one of the best we’ve ever had. Service and atmosphere were spot on. Met both owners they could not have been nicer or more appreciative of us coming in and having dinner with them at 8 pm on a Saturday night. We will be back weekly it was so good. People at a table behind us had the BBQ sample that consisted of ribs, pulled pork and Brisket and the portions were huge and I know what my wife and I are splitting next time they also have all you can eat ribs or fish on Friday nights. 😳
Please give this place a try as you won’t regret it. I ended up also buying a bottle of there spicy BBQ sauce. 😋

Great service. Great cocktails. Normally I’m a meat falls off the bone rib guy, which these were not, but they were so tasty and tender. Each rib was like a good pork chop. A half rack was plenty. Another guest had the sampler plater and the wings were good. The brisket was outstanding. Another person had the gnocchi which was also very good.
