Bar looks good. The bartender was drunk, overcharged our drinks. And was playing the music at a volume you couldn't talk over. There was many people there but wouldn't turn it down. Caused people to leave.

Ordered 3 Fish Fry’s to go and when I arrived to pick up the they were packed as usual but was pleasantly surprised that we were greeted right away and our order brought out promptly. The food was excellent and customer service is top notch! Thanks!

Good food, nice staff, but a tad overpriced. And why are soda refills not free? If that's the case, give us a bigger cup and don't fill it with so much ice. Or maybe free refills with food orders? I dunno. - it's just not cool with today's economy to charge $2.00 for half a glass of soda, too much ice, and no refill....C'mon man!

Slo's is "THE" most dependable bar/restaurant within 90 miles. Patrons/guests never have to play the "are they open" or "are they closed" game like with almost every other bar/restaurant in the area. I have been going to this establishment for over 40 years and yes that pre-dates the bar's name but I cannot recall the previous owner(s). Slo's is one of my top 5 all time spots in the northwoods. There was a time when the Thirsty Whale was my most recommended spot but that ended in the last 5 years when the Thirsty Whale went down the drain with food/service/friendliness.
