1st time ever there 3 of us went for the Smelt all you can eat. Unfortunately, it was terrible. Not one of us could eat it. The fish was barely battered and limp not Krispy in a sense of the word. And extremely fishy tasting. We asked for new ones Krispy. And they took our old ones and threw them back in the fryer we were told. Needless to say, it didn't make a difference it was just terrible. We didn't eat any of it. The waitress was very aware that nothing was taken off the bill. The sad part to get home the animals wouldn't eat it either. 2 dogs and cats and neither would touch it. I Wouldn't recommend going for the food at all. It was a waste of money, time, and driving. Sorry, I wish I could have given a better review. I don't like leaving bad reviews. I wish I could have given a nicer one. But that wasn't our experience, Unfortunately.

Bingo night on Tuesday's. Very busy, good service. Nice pots for every game. We had appetizers, tasty.

This is a “Must Stop” when in the area! There was a lot going on when we were here. Everyone was friendly and talkative, even though we had never met them. Bartender was cool. Atmosphere was off the hook Northwoods!

Friendliest, jovial people anywhere. Love that it’s right on the lake. Pull up with a boat, car, or snowmobile. Not trying to be fancy, down to earth.Wheelchair accessibility: Concrete ramp, easy in. No handicap stall in bathroom but both stalls do have grab bars
We are vacationing in the Woodruff area and on a cool rainy Tue. evening made our way to Slo's Pub. We have never been there and they have a very nice location right by the lake. Promptly seated and our waitress Lori took our drink orders and gave us some time with the large menu. I had the jumbo taco and wife had the combo basket. Others in our group had wraps and salads. My taco was one of the best ever. Plus it was the Tue. night special. Lots of beef, onions, lettuce, black olives, cheese sour cream and salsa. Wife's basket had fries, cheese curds, onion tangles and chicken tenders. It was more than she could eat all were done perfectly. Lori returned several time to check on us and make sure our drinks were full. Everyone agreed that Slo's was a excellent choice in the Woodruff area. Location, staff, food, fair prices, all want to make us return. Lori and the entire staff did a GREAT job making our meal a night to remember.

This place was super busy both times we stopped, so that's a good sign to me. Get there early on wing night or fish fry as there is minimal seating. I ordered the cod & portions were large and it was a decent meal.
Good bar food. Try some appetizers. Big Pretzel and Mots sticks are really good. Main food tasteful. Heard Friday Fish Fry good. Try the Rum bucket, YUMMY. Great atmosphere. Try to make it Tuesday for Bingo. FUN TIME! It's worth making the stop and checking it out.

THIS PLACE ROCKS!!! I discovered this place on accident, and now I've been back 5x already. Great Service, Great Food. The Mega Pretzel appetizer is a must, and Great Wings with 6 different sauces was awesome as well. Give it a try.
