So, I've had some less than stellar experiences with our hometown Ansted Gino's. It frustrated me that I would call in or do an order online only to arrive and my order not even be started . So we took a long hiatus. Last night I decided to place a carryout order after a long day. What a night and day difference! My order was taken by a friendly employee I later found out was Karrie Clackler. She was all smiles and friendly when I picked up my order, which was ready! Our order was also delicious. So I'm giving credit where credit is due. I see huge improvements and I'm happy I gave it a second chance.

They locked their doors before they're supposed to. Happens all the time! Worst crew ever!

For the most part, Gino's Pizza is good. Some locations seem to do better than others. They have some weekly or monthly deals that can save you money. On Tuesday's, they have 2 for Tuesday deals. This deal is for pizzas or spaghetti/lasagna meals and can be mixed. Usually go there for take out once a week. Pubwich is a pretty popular choice, along with their breaded wings, cheesy bread sticks, and baked spaghetti.

I was traveling thru the little town of Anstead WV last evening about 7:00 pm...and decided to stop at Gino's and get a Baked Spaghetti to go...since I had a great experience at a location in Bluefield WV... that's where the comparison ends...the container is only 8 1/2 inches by 6 inches by 1 1/4 inches deep...the container wasn't even close to full ..with maybe 2 tablespoons of their famous sauce...cold barely see much less taste...AND IT COST $16.00...and this is not a typo...these cheese on top was good and the garlic bread was plentiful and tasty...I was 40 miles away by this time so no way to plead my case...shame shame

I often eat at Gino’s when I am visiting home and have noticed that prices have increased while quality has decreased. I realize inflation has something to do with this, but feel the company is taking advantage of being one of few restaurants in town, overcharging customers. Today I ordered baked spaghetti and there were noodles only in half of the pan and sauce was spilled everywhere inside the pizza box they often use to package up to go orders. The sauce also tasted like canned tomato soup. Many of my favorite dishes from this place I cannot eat anymore because the quality is awful. Staff is always nice and efficient and orders are ready on time. But I do not believe I will be giving Gino’s my business because all of my recent orders have been disappointing.

Stopped in last night to check it out. New to area and never tried it before. Restaurant was clean and the staff was attentive A well as friendly. Ordered their "special" a large one topping pizza (pepperoni) for $8.99 which was a good deal however there wasn't enough pepperoni.on the pizza to even call it a pepperoni pizza. More like a large cheese pizza with a few pieces of pepperoni around the edge. I'll give them another try because the crust, cheese and sauce were good but will be wary of any "specials"

We have sat here for a hot second the people who came in after us and the people who ordered after me got their food before a simple mozzarella sticks and french fries came out. Like.... The heck only perk is the gentleman filled my personal cup up .

Located within minutes of Hawk's Nest Lodge, which made it very convenient for a large family after a long days hike. If you place an order online I would suggest calling to double check that they received the order before heading to the restaurant. The larges are definitely big enough for families. We ordered one too many. The crust was good, not soggy or too crispy. Fresh
