“🌭🍦🍨Stopped at this neat little roadside drive in while coming home from Hawks Nest State Park- it’s right on main road in Ansted - I couldn’t believe how cheap their prices were- it was like the 90s all over again lol - I wish I got a pic of the menu but you may be able to find it online- Prices started at .93 cents!! And all the food we got was so good - with big portions - clean establishment- friendly workers - and quality fresh made food ! This will be about your only eating option in the area so don’t miss it. Our first time going and we will definitely look forward to going back when up that way again. 2 thumbs up!! 💯💯💯”

“This is a great subway. It is located in a gas station so you can fill your car and your stomach as well. I stopped here to use the bathroom and get a fountain drink. Store is very clean and staff is friendly.”

“We discovered this place while traveling out here to go hiking at NRG-NP. They have an excellent selection of beer! We each ordered a pizza and they were both delicious. I got the black bean which is the prefect combination for my tastebuds. The crust on their pizza is reallyyyy good! I wish we had one closer to home! Also our waitress, Hannah was very sweet and made great recommendations! All around excellent ☆☆☆☆☆”

“We got here around 6:45pm on November 1 after being told there was a 40 minute wait at Pies and Pints. Tequila Taco Bar seated us immediately and served chips, salsa, and white sauce. I ordered the Quesabirrilia and Margarita tropical (strawberry mango) and my boyfriend ordered the Chorri pollo burrito and a Negra Modelo. All of it was delicious. The atmosphere was great and so was the service. We plan to come back during our trip to get happy hour drinks.”

“I absolutely loved this place. I travel a lot for work and love eating locally. This restaurant happened to be attached to the hotel I was staying for the night and had some of the best food I've had in a while. I had the homemade potato soup which was amazing and the hot honey wings with were also delicious. I hope anyone passing through has a chance to try the food. They also have a large bar with a variety of drinks.”

Older building with a few steps up, not sure about handicapped access (we didn't look).
Two story open spot for the 4 & 6 top tables.
Lots of coffee options.
I rarely do pork, but since the Guide's Plate came with it, I figured to give the 'housemade' a try. IMHO, perfection. Sage and pepper in harmony.
The pancake was bordering on the obscene size, covering most of the plate. Over medium eggs were spot on.
My wife's bagel chouce was just as expected,and delicious
Drip Coffee is a Columbian blend. No acid, light side of both roast and body. Less a light brew that doesn't outshine the food, but that would be hard to do.
Street parking 2 hour max. is free.
Shade may be a bit harder to find.
Staff is quite friendly, if a tad over attentive. Maybe it helps turn over the tables.
A short bottle selection for what I imagine are coffee based drinks.
From the cold cases, my guess is that their lunch service rocks, too!
Leaded stained glass windows make for a nice atmosphere.”

“We stopped in after hiking and I'm glad we did. Their fried nugs taste delicious with a very faint but satisfying pickle flavor. These aren't your average frozen nuggets you find at most small places, these are hand dipped in their own batter and fried to perfection. I'm so glad we didn't pass up this hidden gem. ☆☆☆☆☆”

“Such a lovely find in the midst of hiking and boating! The refined atmosphere was elegant and defined by the 1920s with beautiful curtains, embroidered napkins, crystal glassware and amazing cocktails.

We also enjoyed the spring charcuterie which was perfectly appointed and deliciously balanced with our drinks.

The ladies who were mixing and serving were genuinely nice and very kind to us. They actually seemed glad we were there and chatted. They even recommended a romantic stroll spot for after drinks!
