Rio is always inviting. They have the best food and best drinks in our area. If you are a local or just visiting it is worth the stop!!! 10/10 recommended from a foodie. ❤️

El Rio | Mexican is a local gem in Oak Hill offering authentic, high-quality Tex-Mex. The food is absolutely fantastic, with legitimate Tex-Mex flavors. The chimichangas are perfectly crisp and flavorful, and the fajitas are the best around this area, consistent and sizzling. The complimentary chips and salsa and loaded nachos are excellent. A molcajete made specially is fabulous. The carnitas are still very good. The food is fresh looking and played with care. Lunch portions are available all day. The service is fast, even when busy, with a very friendly staff and a nice server. The atmosphere is fun with hand painted art and unique lighting, including giant flower-like chandeliers. The place is kept clean and authentic looking. Prices are good and portions are large. There is a great selection of tequila. The only complaint is the guacamole had a dull faded green, though it tasted ok. Payment is at the front counter where small candies are available.
