Our group of four stopped here while in town visiting the New River Gorge Bridge. Unfortunately, our experience was less than ideal. The atmosphere was quaint and had potential, but the overall presentation felt a bit unorganized.
The person at the register was very disengaged and gave off an incredibly unfriendly impression, which set a poor tone for the visit. On a more positive note, the woman preparing the food appeared to care about her work, and while the food itself was just okay, it wasn’t enough to make up for the overall experience.
With some serious attention to customer service and consistency, it could become a much better spot.

We ate on the porch with our pups and it was a beautiful day! We didn't get a photo before digging in, but I did get the special quinoa salad to go and I'm looking forward to having it later. The frittata ciabatta with tomatoes and the french toast croissant were delicious!
I'll plan to visit Hawks Nest State Park again just to explore the menu more! The staff were super friendly and helped us make selections. Overall an amazing spot.

This place feels like home. It's cosy and the owners introduced us to some of her friends to chat with during our meal. The chai latte and homemade blueberry dressing on my salad were fantastic.

Great stop! We both got the chicken bacon chiabata sandwich, it was top notch! The onion aioli and marinated tomatoes were chefs kiss. Fantastic pastry’s and coffees as well! Highly recommend a stop for lunch or breakfast

We ate lunch here on our way at to the Bridge Walk. Super friendly staff, really cool place. The food was amazing! Seems like a great spot for locals, many were in and out while we were there and they seemed to know everyone by name. We would definitely go back if we found ourselves in the area.

My only complaint is that it's not open longer because I would eat it for every meal if I had the choice
I would work day and night if they just fed me scraps at the end of the day. 100% recommend for absolutely anybody with tastebuds.
