This was our first visit, and after spending 32 years in Arizona, finding a Mexican restaurant that actually tastes like the food we love has been a real challenge since moving back. However, this place is by far the BEST we’ve found! The flavors were on point and took us right back home.
The only disappointment was the tortillas — the menu mentions “homemade,” but we were served Mission tortillas instead. Fresh, homemade tortillas would’ve really elevated the meal....
Wasn't a bad place to eat at all, waiter was seemingly by himself with all the tables on top of being a little underwhelming in general. A second wait staff member and a little more attentiveness would have went a long ways. Food wasnt bad at all, a little more bland than other places in town but good for those who are picky about things being over seasoned (my extended family have plenty of them)
This is in my opinion the best Mexican restaurant in the area. The food is of a much higher quality than most of their competitors and the menu is much more expansive and creative. The mushroom quesadilla azules are always my fave starter and the shrimp tacos were way better than I'd even hoped for last night. Margaritas are a little bigger than anticipated as well! The only improvement I would say (and it isn't really something that anyone else offers anyway so...
