Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I love browsing all the racks and shelves. At Christmas, I get my packages all ready for under the tree! Thank You, Cracker Barrel.

Got the Chicken and Dumplings and they were delicious. We had Renae as a server and she was the best! She cracked us up and made it a memorable experience.

Cracker Barrel at Harper Road... It's a 50/50 chance to have a good time. The waitress was so sweet but brought us the wrong bread and never checked up if we needed refills. My food is not what the menu advertises it to be or how it came out earlier in the week. When they brought out my fixed meal, it was already in a to-to box in a clear message that they wanted me out as soon as possible. Service seems to suffer from proper training, poor management mandates, or staffing. Recently, staff rarely (if at all) check for refills and such while eating but will frequently check once you're finished in a seeming hurry to get you out.

I can't point to one horrible thing but my recent experiences here has settled in my mind, it'll be a long time before I willingly return to Cracker Barrel. And I can't say I recommend it to anyone else either. You will not get your money's worth.

We stopped here on Monday Aug 11, 2025 in our Forest River travel trailer. We had dinner, which was prompt, hot and delicious. We spoke with the manager who made us feel very welcome in our rv overnight.

OK, review for Store #348 in Beckley, WV, arrived around 8pm with hungry grandchildren, server made my wife fresh decaf coffee, great, kids grilled cheese was terrible, most of the bread was not grilled, cheese was not melted, she loves mashed potatoes but hers were awful, they were chunky not mashed, so flavorless she did not eat them, that never happens, kids chicken tenders were good, my wife's HBR Shepherd pie was good, my Louisiana Shrimp Skillet was very lackluster, the shrimp were slightly over-cooked, the rice was under-cooked, the flavor was nowhere near cagin, kids did like the hot chocolate, Karressa B. our server was good and friendly when we ordered though I had to go and find our napkins at hostess stand since she did not bring us any, we imagine that she was doing her closing duties and so we did not see her after delivering the food except for bringing the bill and filling my wife's coffee once

You can breakfast anytime. I had to have blood work. So I was hungry when I go there. The French toast hit the spot! Didn't take me very long to scoff it down!

Great Cracker Barrel. We stopped in here to and from our destination. We stayed at the wonderful Fairfield Inn and Suites down the road and I got the saucy chicken sandwich both times. It's what you'd expect from a Cracker Barrel. We definitely recommend.

Table of six - some misses with order and waitress did not check back after serving. Brought hash brown casserole when nearly finished eating. Food was good and hot.
