Had a fabulous time after dinner at the steak house. Chelsea was an incredible hostess and accommodating to play the music I asked for. Great drinks and incredibly historical building with a strong family heritage.

We were passing through on a trip and stopped in here for dinner. Excellent service! Our waitress was Mallory. We had the broccoli bites appetizers and I had the frisco burger and my husband had the classic burger. Yum!! Loved the atmosphere. Recommend it.

Stopped in for dinner and ended up having spooktacularly good wings. Generous pours of Jack too. And the band for the night was Stalnaker Hill who killed with home-grown WV folk and bluegrass. What an awesome evening. Next time I’m around I will come back!!

Not recommended. Cheers has better security and Axehole has friendlier staff and a Tax Preparing owner. Easily missed redneck rinse & repeat. Morgan's at the Quality Inn by the highway is also a much better choice. They have veteran bartender staff and are LGTBQ+ friendly. AGAPE is always required in order to be a peacemaker in our society.

To start with the most important note: many of the menus you'll find online are out-of-date. The one at is correct. On to the review: Pretty good food, but this is actually a Tavern, not a restaurant. This isn't a place *not* for children, but it's also not a place for children. Expect patrons to be loud, but not intrusive. The service is fast, thought it helps that the place was nearly empty on a Saturday night. The fried pickles were a highlight. I often find most places serve them too hot to eat right away, but these were great. The burgers were good, but nothing special. I'd have the Guinness burger again, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way for it. I will give the place points for looking really nice on the inside.

Double check your drinks (probably food too).Ordered a chocolate martini. Noticed a roach in it. The lovely bartender, Mallory, made me a new one. Which also had them in it.. which means they're in more places than one.. So gross. :(Nice local bar other than that..
