I ate here on Saturday September 13, 2025 around 05:30 pm. I was surprised to find myself the only customer at the time but enjoyed my dinner. I found the selection quite varied and fresh with a great taste. I loved all the classics but really liked the sautéed mushrooms. The young gentleman provided prompt and friendly service and was attentive in keeping the ice tea topped off and removal of dishes as I went back for more…. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!! I moved away and come visit as often as I can and they still remember me! I love that!! ABSOLUTE THE BEST CRAB RAGGOONS I've ever had. They always make Us feel welcome and at home. Some ppl complaining in these reviews will never be happy no matter what. Some ppl will always cry about something, just know Merryland Express may not have a huge selection, but I love the fact that the food they do have, they have perfected it!! Love & Miss...

I used to eat here often. Moved out-of-state and moved back after five years.
Wanted to eat Chinese food again.
I am beyond disappointed. Everything tasted horrible and had the same flavor. The fruit bar was non-existent except for unripe watermelon and tasteless pineapple. Store bought cakes and jello there.
Main courses not hot and fresh.
Egg drop soup was hot, but salty and tasteless. Little crispy pieces that you put in egg drop soup...
