Rio Grande #2 is my favorite restaurant in Beckley. Their food is wonderful and their staff is very friendly and accommodating. I recommend trying their Burrito Texano. Their mixed drinks are on point too!

Was greeted instantly within five minutes later we would seated and had our drinks And the food is great. People were nice very kind, but the bathrooms could use. A little more cleaning other than that. I would recommend this restaurant.

I always eat here and their food is wonderful and they are polite and they need work on the waiters and waitresses to pay more attention to their customers but other than that they are great place to go if you love Mexican food!

Vegetarian options: I ate the vegetarian dish it was great ! I love mushroom dish .

Kid-friendliness: They have kid menu also

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to go in with no problems

This place used to be our favorite but for the last year it has really changed, our food was served cold, hot plate but cold food right out of the fridge, they also don’t honor their business hours, we were turned away at 8 pm one night and they were supposed to be open till 9, when we asked why the front lady said rudely the doors were supposed to be locked and they were closed, we will not be back again after these 2 incidents, there’s much better options in the area.

Spent 80 dollars on food only thing that got ate was the big burrito my son ordered.the beef nachos was just hamburger on chips no cheese.the nacho supreme was soggy the quesadilla was soggy the guy said it's supposed to be like that the tamales tasted freezer burned store bought not authentic worst experience ever.what a waste of money it deserves no stars for food. So disappointing.

My wife and I have continued to go there over the years as loyal customers. We recently started going to other local Mexican restaurants to mix it up because Rio has started to "slip" on usual services and orders. Sometimes its as simple as just needing napkins. Today our waiter clearly could Not understand my basic order even as I literally pointed to it on the menu. He came back twice to clarify despite me requesting the item without any modifications or special requests, and he came back to clarify that we had ordered lime margaritas with salt yet our margarita glasses had sugar on the rim. Iv never been anywhere sugar is used in place of salt. The new young serving crew is costing this business more than they realize. We have literally been going here for over 30 yrs and this is the second time this year that my wife and I said "If this was our first time going here we would never go back ". The food has always been consistent for the most part which is why we go back however Im not convinced their chips are made fresh daily anymore.

This place was not great. The meat in the beef fajitas was chewy and tough. The burrito was just refried beans in a tortilla. The kids cheese quesadilla was queso (seemingly from a can) in a tortilla. Overall everything seemed to be from a can. Then, when we were done eating and wanted to leave, the server was MIA for several minutes when we wanted the check!
