This is THE place! We tried the fish, meatloaf, pork chops, and chicken — my family could not stop raving about all of it! The cornbread, mashed potatoes, and collards were all highlights, too. My dad said it was the best meal he’d had in a long time. Real home cooking that’s made with love at a reasonable price.We’re not from the area, but we’ll definitely be back!

My wife and I look for unique places when we travel, and this place was amazing! I had the chicken, baked beans, mac & cheese. My wife had the fish, mac & cheese, potato salad. Everything was hot, fresh and absolutely delicious! By far my favorite place we found in the NRG region!

The serving size is very large, so that helps with the pricing. Very nice service. Best tasting corn bread and Mac and cheese I ever tasted. Right on main Street Beckley WV. That is a great spot for I found them when the city of Beckley was holding events on main Street. I highly recommend this place.

Visiting from Florida, went in for some real food. It was delicious. The people that own it are so nice and great to talk to. We got the fried fish, cornbread, baked beans, and collard greens. Everything was just right. My wife hasn't stopped talking about the collards for a week.
During a regular weekday, it was lunch time and tons of locals were in and out, seemed like the owners knew everyone by their first name.
Great find. I stopped with some colleagues for lunch. I had the fried chicken, they had the meatloaf. We were all happy with our choices.
