Stopped in at 7pm for a quick dinner. One person doing everything including cooking. Should have closed for the night. We didn't stay.
Try to give benefit of doubt, but this place should be 0 stars. Wondering if other reviews are fake. Low Mein noodls over cooked mush, general tzu 🐔 mainly skin. Threw everything in the trash as soon as i opened back at hotel. Soda were all expired by month in the case and chef came out wearing a dirty apron and tank top. What the hell. 36 bucks literally wasted. You can see the half shirt chef in the door way of picture. Run.

Food was terrible. Lo mein was like overcooked rubber noodles. Chicken with broccoli taste like a frozen Chinese food meal from the grocery store.

Loved this hidden gem. A real Chinese sit down restaurant like the old days. Great menu and Chinese drinks like the fog cutter the Singapore sling and all the best I've had in years since I went to The old post office Chinese in Washington and the Peking Gardens in Wheeling.

Food quality is way down since Covid. They charge a surcharge on top of already high menu prices. They charge $3.50 for a drink and don’t want to give you any to go. They charge extra for more chips and duck sauce even when you order soup as your meal.
Great people here and I love the food. Very beautiful restaurant, and the wonton soup is amazing!!
The place was pretty much empty, we stopped in for a late lunch on a Monday, so that's understandable. Service was quick, our waitress was kind and polite, and the restaurant was decently clean. However, there were ants in our soda, not alive, so I can only assume they'd been there for some time. The waitress brought us bottled soda and we were not charged for it. My husband got the chicken lomein, and though there was a decent amount of chicken in it, the noodles were far overdone, as was my fried rice, almost a mushy/grainy consistency. The chicken in it was also overdone, rather dry. I got sweet and sour pork, and it had no seasoning whatsoever, possibly some of the most bland food I've ever tasted. The soup was fine, about what you'd expect, and the cheese wontons are simply fried cream cheese, also unseasoned. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone- I've had better Chinese at the sleezy places you can't even sit down in.

Absolutely best Chinese food in the area. Everything is always fresh and the appetizers when you sit down are fantastic (especially the cabbage). I never understand why this place is not busier as its some of the best Chinese food I've had in the US. Give it a try!

The prices have been jacked up since it was sold. For instance, the lunch platters use to be $9.95, now they are $13.95, the regular dishes went up by $5-$7 a piece too. Not exactly worth it in my opinion.

No pride of ownership. The restaurant interior shows neglect and needs a deep cleaning, painting, windows washed. The food was okay.
