I’ve never had a bad experience here. The parking can be tough if you want to park right out front, but you can always park on the road and walk up.
Everything I have had here has been great.
No complaints about the food or service at all. My standard for a family diner vibe in the area.

WOW!! that’s all i can say really. the atmosphere was that of a friendly environment, very welcoming. the service: immaculate! we waited about only 5 minutes for our food to come out after we ordered. the food was quite delightful. the scrambled bowls are a 5/5 and the apple cheesecake was a 6/5 (coming from two very harsh food critics). will recommend this place to anyone going through this area!!!

Cute cafe with disappointing food. Coffee was cold. We said we could wait for a fresh pot and instead one of the servers took the cup and microwaved it. It was still cold but tasted like microwaved coffee (iykyk). Most of the food was also cold, which made us feel it wasn’t fresh. The potatoes were clearly sitting out all morning. Cold and had the old oil taste. Pancakes were yummy but again, cold. The only item that wasn’t cold were the eggs. This made us feel like they prepare as much as they can beforehand and heat it up right before serving. I normally prefer telling people if I have a problem instead of writing a review, but after the coffee took a few asks, we figured not much point in saying the rest of the food was also cold.
Overall friendly services (except for the microwaved coffee) and cute atmosphere. Maybe we just went for breakfast too late in the morning and it wasn’t fresh. But it was a bummer for us.

Quick Story, We came in on a Sunday and saw that they had a few apple fritters available thinking I would purchase one on the way out. Anyways had our lunch, went to the register and was told that someone just purchased all of them. We decided to come back the next day and when we walked in I looked and no apple fritters. Oh well, time to enjoy lunch. Nearing the end of our lunch we ran into our waitress from the day before and she mentioned to call the next time we were coming in, but being from Virginia Beach i didn't know when that would be. Anyways they whipped up a couple for us and has us on our way in 5 minutes and provided an excellent experience that I won't forget. Thank you ladies C and L

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Charlotte’s Café Review
Charlotte’s Café is a small, clean diner-style breakfast spot that’s absolutely worth a visit — just be ready for a wait. We waited about 30 minutes for a table, which seems pretty normal given how busy this place gets. If possible, I’d recommend making a reservation so you don’t have to wait as long.
The food was excellent. I ordered the chorizo breakfast bowl and it was fantastic — flavorful, fresh, and a really generous portion. My girlfriend got the avocado toast and loved it as well. The prices were surprisingly cheap for the quality and portion sizes; our total was around $35, and it felt more than worth it.
The café itself is well kept, including the restrooms, which were clean and tidy. Overall, Charlotte’s Café is a great little spot, worth the wait, and definitely a place we’d come back to.
