“Visiting from out-of-town and snagged a reservation. So glad we did! Comfy surroundings in a former house with 18-20 tables inside and a patio for summer. It’s prix-fixe, 3 courses, so we were already anticipating an excellent experience, and it did not disappoint. Multiple choices for each course, and then there were daily specials! We dined on shrimp cocktail, which was topped with olive tapenade and served over a horseradish-tomato vinaigrette and a lovely lobster bisque with a mini crab cake on top and crème fraiche. Entrees were a crispy duck with rosemary gratin potatoes and a most unusual mango pear chutney, and a fabulous hanger steak with mash and mushrooms with crabmeat. That hanger steak set the bar for any future entrees! We were groaning thinking about dessert, but the flourless chocolate torte and a strawberries and cream crème brulee were the perfect end to the evening. The staff was outstanding and friendliness and service. We will make it a point to return! Bravo!”

“We had lattes, a cheese Danish, and a muffin. Everything was really good.... especially the lattes. The woman taking orders was extremely friendly, but in a down to earth, genuine way. She was patient with us as we took our time deciding what we wanted. I would absolutely recommend this spot for breakfast, lunch, or a quick bite.”

“Dear Mr. Anonymous, who "escorted" me out the door last night after demanding that I move my truck. I am 77, have two bad legs and knees (5 operations with metal inserts), had never been there before, and saw a car parked next to the building. I parked there, too. There were NO signs indicating the space as a no parking area. Put up a sign so old guys like me will know. I had to drive out to 522 to access Mercer Street, which you have now cut off as "private property". How can that be, when it was an open, two-way street I used for years before you fenced it off? I don't have a cell phone or facebook or any of that other crap that "everyone else" has that magically puts someone in the know: "You're the only one". You may have the best burgers in town - as I have been told - but I'll never know. I'll NEVER return, and hope we never cross paths again. Have a nice day.”

“Great experience. Some good and some bad things. I'll start with the good. My waitress was super friendly and nice. She tended our table multiple times. Food was good but the steak was a little tough. Specials don't start til 5 which the menu didn't indicate. But the steak special was unbeatable. $20 for a steak, salad, side, potato, and roll. Husband got the chicken cheese steak. He said it didn't have much flavor. Lighting was very dark. But overall a decent experience. And as a jersey girl the hillbilly name and vibe caught my attention cause deep down I'm a southern girl. ?”

“We stopped in for drinks and were delighted with the selection. My husband enjoyed all 4 beers in his flight. We were there as they approached closing and didn't feel pushed out one bit.”

“This place is amazing!! The food was incredible, the people who worked there were soooo nice and friendly, the atmosphere was great, the inside is so beautiful and there is the newer touchscreen version of "jukebox" u can pay n play songs n they have a pool table.... It was absolutely awesome. We also bought some ice cream, I got 1 scoop in a waffle cone n let me tell u 1 scoop is all u need! She packed the waffle cone full, I literally ate half n had 2 ask for a cup 2 put it in 2 save for after eating.... My husband got a milkshake which was pretty good size, he didn't even finish his. The burger was huge n soooo good!! The amount of food u get is huge in my opinion and the prices r well worth the amount u get plus the taste! Hands down loved it!!! Will definitely b back that's for sure!!!”

“Nice, quiet quaint restaurant. The breakfast was really good and or server Paige was very prompt and friendly. Thank you Paige.Lunch at the Morgan Tavern. Heather our server was great. We had the tuna salad sandwich on toast with chips and pickle. Also, had a bowl of red pepper red gouda cheese.Parking: Parking was not an issue, perhaps if there are a lot of guests, it could prove more difficult.”

“Very good Chinese food, best in the area and better than some places in Martinsburg snd Hagerstown. Always come here when working in the Berkeley Springs area. Food is always fresh and hot. Service is very good very friendly. Would highly recommend.”

“We ordered a large brisket order by the pound for a very special family event and everyone was simply delighted! The meat was tender, juicy and such a delicious flavor! Our guest kept asking if we made it! Lol! Bob and family were very nice and helpful with our preorder,(a week in advance due to the size of the order). We can't wait to order the ribs next time. Many thanks and we will be ordering from you for years to come, even if it's just a sandwich pick up. If you love good BBQ, then look no further. Highly recommend!”

“First time ever going to Berkeley Springs and was looking for a place to eat lunch and stumbled across the naked Olive. I would highly recommend it it's in a perfect part of the town the staff was super friendly and while you're waiting inside there is a lot of really neat pictures and colorful nice layout and atmosphere. The food was delicious. How did highly recommend it”

“We ordered a cake for our sons second birthday. I called in twice and each time I was very satisfied! She took time to make notes about the cake and when I called in the second time for an update I was excited to hear that the cake decorator would be incorporating the construction theme instead of the edible image of a monster truck. We were so pleased with how the cake turned out! I specifically asked for no red and that was honored. It was perfect and oir son loved it! Photo uploaded!”

“I love the food at this restaurant. The staff is great. BUT SERIOUSLY YOU ARE CHARGING FOR CHIPS AND SALSA! I have been to many Mexican restaurants and no one charges for CHIPS AND SALSA. Pull your heads out of your rears and fix this or I am not coming back.”
