“We come in about 4 times a month while traveling to Garrett County, it’s our stop for fuel, restroom and the restaurant for whatever the daily special might be! The Ruben and meatball sub is fantastic and the fries are the best!!!! Don’t forget the ice cream, you can even get it with booze in it! We love the different types of deviled eggs, and the dessert case is amazing! Filled with all different types of cheesecakes, parfaits and more!”

“I've stopped here 3 times. Very scenic & relaxing. The drive up to the lookout is just as enjoyable. 2 out 3 times I had the parking lot to myself. On weekends can be busier. The view of the Potomac River is incredible. The history of this location is just interesting also.”

“Excellent food and wonderful service! The tots, Reuben, chili, brisket sandwich were all fantastic as was the beer. The service was really attentive. My only feedback is that I don’t really think it’s sanitary or appetizing to be eating indoors with dogs. I think allowing pets outdoors is nice but it’s really quite a turnoff to be eating and having other people’s dogs flapping its hairy tail into my food and barking and begging. This is also quite challenging for people with allergies and small children who are fearful of dogs. Otherwise, an excellent experience.
