Stopped in to get ice. As the sign says, if you don't see it, ask; 7#, 3$. If I was drinking and needed a sandwich, I would have. Cool little country vibe. It's a happening spot for sure right by the campground and river, C&O access. Good find!
CASH ONLY. First impression is this place's primary business is being a bar. Entrance is right at the bar, and lights are turned down a little like a bar. Once you get past that then the place is fine. To the right were a few tables and chairs. Place was clean, staff was nice, service was good, and we liked the food. Nothing fancy, but good. This is the most down home place I think I've ever been to. How many places can you find a fried bologna sandwich? Way better then the ones I make. The bologna was 1/2 inch thick!! The girl behind the bar was Jacks daughter. Jack is Bills son, who took over after Bill died. The family has lived in the area for a very long time. They know everything about the area.
