Wonderful place to visit, very friendly folks and great service. The food was fresh and very tasty and reasonably priced. Worth a visit put on bucket list!

A nice place for a beer and some lunch when riding on the Western Maryland Railtrail or the C&O Topath.

NOPE, DO NOT STOP THERE. Not sure why @NPS recommends this place for C&O path travelers. Openly hostile and inflaming rhetoric, 1st evident in their long-winded "Welcome" sign, trying to justify their racist/misogynistic/homophobic beliefs, and it only gets worse once you're inside. Sketchy, cash-only business, not allowed to refill water bottles, save your money and find another place. National Park Service should not recommend this dump.DO NOT FUND RACISM

This is the most down home place I think I've ever been to. How many places can you find a fried bologna sandwich? Way better then the ones I make. The bologna was 1/2 inch thick!! The girl behind the bar was Jacks daughter. Jack is Bills son, who took over after Bill died. The family has lived in the area for a very long time. They know everything about the area. Very welcoming family too. The inside is decorated with all kinds of cool stuff and dollar bills on the ceiling. I never remember to take pictures till It's too late . Trust me I'm working on that. I'll try to do better. I will definitely be back to Bills again when I'm in the area. Be adventurous and stop in. You won't regret it.

It had been years since I had been there, it hadn't changed much..other than new building. Great people, great time.

Begrudgingly advertises to passers-by on the C&O, such as we were. However, isn’t actually welcoming to outsiders. The sign says it all. Disallows water fills and sells water bottles. A reminder that in 330 miles of crossing a wonderful land, disappointments are to be found. Stop, or not, accordingly.

Don't want to overstate it, but this place was very sketchy. I'm surprised at the high rating. My friend and I stopped in here on our ride to DC. The place seemed dangerous, rowdy obnoxious drunks making threatening comments. Not to even mention the signs on the outside stating that if you care about racism you aren't welcome — wait, what?! We are adult men and felt unsafe, so I'd definitely suggest others, particularly women and minorities, keep riding.Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible

Avoid this place at all costs, drunks at every table, unfriendly service, and a very creepy atmosphere. I’m a grown man and felt unsafe, seriously avoid. Don’t disregard this review, I felt so
