Great experience. Some good and some bad things. I'll start with the good. My waitress was super friendly and nice. She tended our table multiple times. Food was good but the steak was a little tough. Specials don't start til 5 which the menu didn't indicate. But the steak special was unbeatable. $20 for a steak, salad, side, potato, and roll. Husband got the chicken cheese steak. He said it didn't have much flavor. Lighting was very dark. But overall a decent experience. And as a jersey girl the hillbilly name and vibe caught my attention cause deep down I'm a southern girl. ?

We have a cabin in Great Cacapon and came down not once but twice and had the best time. Food was good, drinks were cold and MEG was the best. If you are town and would like a place to relax, have some food and drinks, play pool or listen to music. Go and see MEG…..she is great……..tell MEG, Ron and company sent ya

We had burgers and fries. I'm a picky eater and when my burger came out it had mustard and ketchup ?. They took it back and made me a new one. The young woman was very nice about it. It was a very nice bar. We were from out of town and you could tell everyone knew each other but we didn't feel uncomfortable at all. I have to say it looks much better on the inside than the outside, so go in and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed.Kid-friendliness: They had highchairs and I would take a child there.
Great staff, everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, and we got everything in a timely manner, even with a pool tournament going on. Also had delicious bloody Mary's! We will definitely be returning.

First time visit today, wasn't expecting such a really good burger. Had the Hillbilly Deluxe was huge and the meat had tremendous flavor! I was pleasantly surprised. Barmaid was friendly and attentive to my drinks however I didn't catch her name. I recommend.

I just came in because I was on a long bike ride and ran out of water. I walked in and Meg was so sweet and kind and filled my hydra pack with ice and water.
