The overlook itself is nice, lots of space, but the ultra bright street lights ruin it for anyone trying to enjoy some stars, or in my case- the Aurora Borealis.

I've stopped here 3 times. Very scenic & relaxing. The drive up to the lookout is just as enjoyable. 2 out 3 times I had the parking lot to myself. On weekends can be busier. The view of the Potomac River is incredible. The history of this location is just interesting also.

A must see if you are in the area visiting Berkeley Springs. The restaurant was closed with no foreseeable opening date, but there is plenty of food and fun things to do at the base of the Great Cacapon!
